Goodafternoon Everyone! How's it going? Today I'll be sharing to you a nice movie that I just watched last night. Could this story be possible in real life?

Story

Adaline Bowman is seen purchasing fake identification cards from a forger in San Fransisco at the start of the film. She walks home to her apartment, where she is greeted by her dog. She has bred the same kind of dog over and over again during her 107 years of being alive. She states that she is late for work in the archives office of the downtown library.

She opens a video reel while working and her life is clarified. She was born in 1908 on New Year's Day, got married, had a child, and went on to become a widow. One night, as she was driving to her parents' home, unexplainable snow started to fall. She survives from a car wreck, dies in icy waters, and is brought back to life by a lightning bolt, a mix that keeps her 29 years old forever. It becomes clear that Adaline is not ageing as her daughter Flemming grows older. She is pulled over by a cop one day who takes her ID away, as it says she is in her late 40s.

She walks home one night, when two FBI agents place her in a car and try to get her on an airplane. She flees and decides that she is going to spend her life running. She explains to Flemming this, and they're going to have a heartfelt farewell. She is adding a cosigner to her bank account at the moment and has a flashback to when she opened the account. She believed in Xerox, and it paid off well for her. She plans to leave to live in Oregon soon. She attends a party on New Year's Eve where she meets Ellis Jones. Her colleagues note that a generous benefactor is coming to donate some books the next day at work. Ellis carries her namesake books with roses, but Adaline refuses to go out with him. He then says that if she refuses the date, he'll cancel his donation. They are exploring the tunnels containing an old boat under San Francisco for their date. Adaline later agrees with Ellis to have a second date. For the next date, she goes to Ellis' flat, and they spend the night together.

Adaline is seen pulling up in a cab to a guy on a park bench in a flashback, fiddling with an engagement ring. Looking terrified, Adaline asks the cab to keep going. She avoids Ellis' calls these days. He shows up at her flat, and he is driven away by Adaline. She has a change of heart as she looks at old photographs. In order to apologize, she goes back to Ellis' office. They go to the old covered drive-in film theater on a date. He asks her to attend the 40th anniversary of his parents' party, and she says yes. They enter his house, and William Jones (Harrison Ford), who calls her Adaline, welcomes her. She says it was her aunt. He is shaken and says they were very close." How they met is explained by a flashback. In England, Adaline was having car trouble, and he was a soldier studying medicine abroad. Together, they returned to America. Instead of medicine, she pushed William to pursue his dream of astronomy. With the engagement ring, he was the one. They'll play quiz that night. Adaline pretends not to know a response, but after Ellis's diss, she goes all out and wins. The family jokes that they did not know what would happen first the death of William in trivia or Della's arrival-a meteor he predicted would arrive that was the nickname of Adaline.

Adaline speaks to William the day of the picnic, and he mentions a scar from the stitches he made on her left hand when they were hiking decades ago. He knows that it is Adaline who left him years ago on the park bench because she's not old. He begs her not to run, but she says she's not sure how to run. She is writing Ellis a note, packs, and leaves.

When she pauses and calls Flemming to tell her she's going to stop running, Adaline is driving through the woods. A tow truck plows into her as she turns the car around a hit and run, causing her to die. In 1178, a meteor struck the moon, setting off a chain of events that now produces snow falling for the first time in 78 years in Sonoma County. She dies again whilst freezing and powerless. An ambulance arrives and is rescued by the defibrillator of an EMT (similar to the lightning strike of her first death). She wakes up in the hospital with Ellis. When her daughter enters, Adeline lets her know that she said the truth to Ellis.

Ellis and Adaline are going to a New Year's Eve party sometime later. As she is leaving, in the hallway mirror, Adaline sees something strange. She discovers and plucks the first gray hair, to keep it up in the light. Apparently, her natural aging process was resumed by a combination of the defibrillator and hypothermia from the car crash.

I really really love theis movie. I watched it like 5 times I guess 😅😅 but what I love is the ending. I thought it would be a cliff hanging like other movies Good thing that she turns back to normal... And loving the son of her first love 😅.. Until now, I'm saving it on my laptop and would love to watch it again.
