To the future me

Dear self,

I am writing this today, February 13, 2022 at 9:12 p.m. to remind you of how awesome you've become. You are hurting but you choose to continue. You are learning about everything that you can learn about and I'm so proud of you for not giving up given the circumstances you are facing.

You recently lost your papa last September 24, 2021. You are still crying from time to time and I know how much you wanted to just leave everything behind and never look back yet here you are striving to get stronger each day. You are in pain but choose to silently succumb to it. I know that one day you will be able to move forward with joy and love in your heart.

Your family had been COVID positive but you are never left alone in your battles. Your family are with you and you were way too busy stressing out with your job that two weeks weren't at all that boring for you.

You have difficult workmates who doesn't care about what others will feel for how they treat others but you are humble enough to tolerate them and ask only when needed. You wanted to resign and just give up on your dreams due to stress, pressure and turmoil inside your heart but you choose to persevere despite the problems you're facing.

You are still single up to this date. No one has liked you to the point of pursuing you but it's okay. You're still living a blissful and awesome life. You are doing well. He will come when the time is right and when God knows that you are ready to be with him for the rest of your life.

You have a lot to say but you don't know how to express your feelings and emotions because you're blunt and you often over share whenever you speak with someone you are comfortable with.

You started your ipon challenge last December 3, 2021 and you feel disheartened seeing that you were unable to shade some more circles which lets you know if your ipon challenge is moving forward.

You made goals for self improvement and you have the desire to return back to how you started in your faith in God. You are doing well and better in your prayer time, devotionals, life groups and even the Sunday services. You are better and slowly healing but you'll definitely get there. I know and I believe that you can.

You have lots of dreams and goals in life and your mind is often a mess of thoughts and it's okay. You are you and that's something that will always be part of you.

To the beautiful, lovable, awesome and strong you. You will one day wake up and see that you have already achieved your dreams and goals in life. House and lot in a subdivision in Quezon City, apartment for another source of income, condo unit as investment, family mini bus so you can go wherever you want to go when you want to travel with your whole family, fat savings and a love life with the person God has given you as a gift.

I love you and I'll forever stay strong so you can read this in the future and see that what I've written here are testimonies you can share to inspire others as well. I love you forever and always.
