This is the time of the year where most families are united. Shopping gifts, exchange gifts, gift giving, Noche Buena, Christmas Spirit and a lot more are seen and felt every where as well as the cold breeze of air which makes you want to lie down on your bed for a longer period of time.
I've been busy lately with all the debts, new job, preparations and all that. It's been a busy ber months for me. I also have lots of stuff which I have to attend to and a few family gatherings which requires effort as it's only once a year.
I wanted to do a lot of things and I needed time in order to do it. Everything felt so new to me which is somehow overwhelming and made me think of making the wrong decision, but here I am and I just definitely needed to give myself some time to adjust and learn.
The Christmas season is felt almost everywhere. There are Christmas songs all over the place, busy malls and markets as well as busy. Christmas bonus and other things are expected from the employers to their employees. Grocery basket and different parties are also expected.
But form all those things, I would like to emphasize what Christmas is all about. We are celebrating Christmas because it's the birth of Jesus Christ and Without Christ, there will be no Christmas. Isn't it ironic how the world stops to celebrate His birth but not all people actually believes in Him. Not all people sees Him for who He is.
Jesus Christ is the Messiah. He is the Son of God, risen from the dead in order to save the lost. And He is coming again in order to judge the world. The God that we have and we serve is the God of Moses and all the other people who lived in the old testament. He is the same God.
Christmas should not just be the season of giving but the season of remembering our Lord Jesus Christ who is the main reason for this season. I hope that aside form delicious food, gifts and being with your family, you will also remember when Jesus Christ was born in order to save the lost.
