How do you get to your destination? Every day, we go to different places. Near or far, we make sure to arrive safe and sound. Commuters like me use different modes of transportation. And I always ride trains when commuting along Metro Manila. But how do you really know that you are safe when you travel? Protection is better than cure. As the government always reminds us to wear a mask, bring alcohol and sanitize, we must also consider the transportation we use to travel. And most people in the Metro travels by train to avoid traffic. But do you know that aside from people, tickets are now being quarantined? Quarantined Tickets Considering the present pandemic situations, the operations of the Railway System in the Philippines specifically LRT Line 2 make sure that all of its passengers will have safe travels along the lines. As I have read in the news, they "Quarantine Tickets" before it is used by passengers. And how do they do it? Here is how they do proactive measures: Vending machines are used by passengers who wish to buy tickets The ticket sellers will wear gloves and face shields when assisting first-time passengers or users of the vending machine The single journey tickets will be disinfected at the end of the day upon collection The tickets will be isolated and quarantined for 72 hours before circulation Your Safety Is Of Utmost Concern Despite safety issues being spread about in the country, consider yourself safe when riding the LRT Line 2 Trains. I mainly use my car or walk. To me the safest way. My children use bikes but from September on need to take the bus. I hope it's safe enough.
You are lucky to have a car. You are safer compared to those who commutes. Bikes are good also. It is another way to go to places. It is convenient though. I am considering buying one too.
Even how much safety protocols we set, the truth is that there is really lack of public transportation. Only the rich ones can afford to buy their own private cars. It is somehow the reality, especially now. However, we should look positively and endure. Lack of transportation gives commuters another stressing feels. And it should be properly addressed by the government.
It's really hard commuting on the way work with the crisis that we are facing. We have fear in our mind that we might be exposed to the virus but still we still neglect it because we need to provide for our family.
Indeed. We face so many negativities but we still choose to proceed. When we think of our families' needs, we have no choice but to work and earn a living. Life must go on.
Getting to your destination is not a very big task, you just need your drive (passion), encouragement and support from people around you, this is the way I'll put it and this destination is from a successful trails perspective.
