Halloweekend: challenge for Spanish writers and for everyone who wants to improve Spanish skills!

By popular request this weekend, we will close our noise.cash channel, and we will only allow horror stories. Not only about monsters and evil spirits, but also about adult terrors (those very real things that torment us as adults and make us lose sleep).

The interest and reception caused by this initiative has made us consider extending it also to read.cash, for those people who like to write more extensively.

But the language rules of this Spanish-speaking community are more flexible than those of its “little sister” channel. In this community at read.cash all kinds of writings in any language are accepted AS LONG AS they also have a Spanish translation.

In the time I have been here, several times I have made an effort to try to translate my Spanish texts into English, and the truth is that it is an excelent exercise that helps a lot to learn and improve my English skills. So, why not also invite you to do the opposite?

If you want to improve your writing skills in Spanish, don't hesitate. Write your horror text in the language of your choice, and then translate it into Spanish as well as you can. Do you make mistakes? No shame and no worries. I'm sure they are not as serious as the ones I make when translating into English. We'll be here to help you to improve.

Halloweekend: extendemos la participación a esta plataforma y a todos y todas quienes deseen mejorar su español

Por votación popular este fin de semana cerraremos nuestro canal de noise.cash y solo permitiremos historias de terror. No solo sobre monstruos y espíritus malignos, sino también sobre terrores adultos, aquellas cosas muy reales que nos atormentan y nos hacen perder el sueño.

El interés y la acogida de esta iniciativa nos ha hecho plantearnos extenderla también a read.cash para aquellas personas a las que les gusta escribir más extenso.

Las personas que escriban en un idioma distinto, también quedan invitadas SIEMPRE Y CUANDO añadan una traducción al español de su texto hecha por ellos y ellas a modo de ejercicio para mejorar su conocimiento de este idioma.

¡Así que ya saben! Este fin de semana, nuestro canal de noise.cash permanecerá cerrado y solo se aceptarán historias terroríficas que nos asusten y nos mantengan pegados a las sillas, pero también aquí les invitamos a escribir sus historias de terror.

Aunque no se cerrará esta comunidad ni habrá limitación de contenidos, les proponemos este reto para que, durante este fin de semana, llenemos esta comunidad de terror, misterio, brujas y calabazas… o de todas esas cosas que nos atormentan.
