Money Doesn't Discriminate – It Favors The Right Mindset
We have all heard it said before, but it bears repeating-money does not discriminate when it comes to opportunity. It flows in the direction of the right mindset.
The single most powerful asset we all have is our mind. If it is trained well, it can create enormous wealth in what seems to be an instant
― Robert T.Kiyosaki
We've all been told that money doesn't discriminate; rather it flows toward who has the right mindset. Having a mindset where you believe you can succeed regardless of circumstances makes all the difference. If someone had said at some point in my life, "You can be anything, do anything, live anywhere and have everything," I would have never believed it. But after reading many books and taking classes, I realized that anyone can make their dreams come true if they simply want them bad enough. And with today's technology and resources, it's easier than ever before to accomplish your goals.
But the biggest obstacle between you and your success are your beliefs. You need to change your thinking from "I'm too old, too young, too fat, too thin, too rich, too poor, too smart, too dumb, etc. to start making my dream into reality." Instead, let's focus on how we can change our mindsets to help us achieve our goals.
If you decide that you will be poor, there’s nothing I can do, you’re gonna be poor. If you decide to be rich today, who going stop you, who? If you decide you want to be rich, all you got to do is start. – Steve Harvey
I have always believed that money comes to those who are open to receiving it. I learned this from my uncle, who was a very wealthy man when I was growing up (He likes having me around, so I spent a lot of time with him). He taught me that money is a tool, and if you use it wisely and with intent, it can be your greatest ally in life.
He also taught me that if you don't believe in yourself, then no one will believe in you either! This is a lesson I've carried with me throughout my life, and one that's made all the difference in how I view myself as an individual today.
I know what it means to have money—and more importantly, how it makes me feel—because I've experienced both sides of this coin firsthand. My uncle was wealthy when he was younger, but he later lost everything when his lifestyle changed - he became involved with alcohol, drugs, and women. As hard as he tried to stop , he couldn't do it alone; eventually his health got worse until there was nothing left for him at all. He spent years trying to recover from this period of his life before finally realizing that no matter how much money someone has or how powerful they are their lifestyle and attitudes of mind can alter their lives.
The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind. - James Allen
Money doesn't discriminate, it favors the right mindset. This means you can use money to help you achieve your goals, but it also means that if you have the right mindset, money will respect your hard work and support you in your pursuit of success.
The best way to get the most out of money is to treat it like a tool—and not a god—that can help you accomplish things. Money is a powerful force in our lives and can make or break us in many ways, but if we understand how to use it properly, we can use it to our advantage and make it work for us instead of against us. If we're not careful about how much we spend and where we spend it, having more than enough money may actually make us less happy than if we don't have enough at all!
So remember: Your mindset and approach to money determines whether you will maintain, loss or multiply it.
