Lucky but Scary

*Which one will you choose? Living in a haunted mansion that you can have everything you need and want, or in a poor house with nothing but there's no spiritual entity ruining your daily life?* *I made this question for today's article. You guys can check them too:)*** ________________________ After my mom graduated in Elementary, he accompanied her cousin in Manila*(capital city of the Philippines)* for vacation. Living in a province, it's a big privilege for her to step in the city, so without further thinking, she said yes to her cousin's invitation. Her cousin is working in a rich family's house that time. So when they got into the house, she was so amazed how big it is, and how all their things looks expensive. On the very first day, the owner already like my mom. She told my mom to stay in their house, and they will give everything to her, even to sustain my mom's schooling. The owner's children already grown up, maybe the reason they are longing for a daughter in the house; then the married couple found my mom. *Fast forward ...* By God's Will, my mom stay there and serve as a maid. But the owner didn't let her to do any work. They even provide everything to my mom, more that what she needs and wants. The owner introduced my mom as their niece, and send my mom to school with a car every morning, same thing after class. Since my mom serve as their child, she was tasked to take care of everything when they are not around. One night, it was already 10 pm, when my mom together with the house workers gathered in the living room watching movie. The lady owner go down and told them to close the door before sleeping, so that the dogs can't enter and go up to the second floor. They said yes and the lady owner back to their room. 12 am, they are still watching when they hear steps in the stairs. All of them look at the back and saw the lady owner going down the stairs without saying anything, then enter the kitchen. They just ignore it and continue to watch while talking. After a minutes, one of the worker notice that the owner didn't get back. She walked to the kitchen and seen no one. All of them followed, but the lady owner was not there. They think that maybe she go out using the other door, so they just ignore it. In the morning, they asked the owner if she went into the kitchen that time. The owner said that she was sleeping already that time, and the last time she go down is when she told them to close the door. My mom get scared because it was her first time to experience something spooky in the house. There was also a time when my mom and the lady owner was talking in the kitchen when the chair move on itself. It's not new to the owner, as she used to experience this before. When they are out of town, it's only my mom who stay in the house. There are times that she can hear little steps running in the second floor. They already said that there are dwarfs living in the house but she didn't believed it until she saw the steps on her two eyes. She was alone in the house, and the lady owner called her to turn off the aircon in the second floor. When she's in the room, she saw small steps in the ceiling running; seems like they are playing.
