The most basic problem in every society stems from communication. The development of communication skills starts from the moment a person is born. Although it varies according to conditions and possibilities, this skill development continues with the acquisition of different methods and features in every moment of life. Although many societies living in the world in the past gained different communication skills and developed on different methods of communication, the effort of people to establish relations with each other has always been one of the common aspects of all humanity.

Although every age can be supported by experts for the development of communication skills, early ages and childhood are both a more favorable period for the development of communication skills, and babies and children need such training more. Although it varies according to the societies and personality traits they live in, every child goes through the communication education process in order to adapt to social life. The points to consider here are; focusing on the different characteristics, disabilities or disorders of the child, providing a healthy social environment for the child, applying for expert guidance and establishing a continuous skill development training program.

The age period of the child and the level of development of communication skills form the basis of the communication skills training program. Communication education of the child begins early, when he cannot develop his speaking ability and most of them are deprived of physical competence. During this period, children should be given the ability to communicate through gestures and facial expressions. Thus, the child develops the ability to focus on communication and the ability to make sense of the behavior of the people around him.

At this age, children learn by observing effects and results. For this reason, directing them to first establish eye contact and then make a descriptive sound or movement in order to reach the result will make important contributions to the formation of basic communication skills in the child. The language education process begins with the development of understanding and reaction activities in children. Language has an important place in the transition phase from the life of small and close groups of people (family, etc.) to social life. In order not to encounter problems while taking part in the society, individuals should not experience big differences with their peers in terms of educational skills.

During language skills training, it is aimed to develop children's vocabulary. In this way, the child begins to express himself more easily and to take part in his social environment more easily. He becomes able to cope with his problems more easily and there is a noticeable increase in his self-confidence. Regardless of personal difference, disorder or disability, each individual can educate himself and develop a healthy thinking practice by taking part in society. For this reason, the development of communication skills should be maintained in social life and natural spaces, even if it is supported by training in special conditions. Individuals whose intellectual development lags behind individuals with normal development or who have physical problems can return to their original level of communication education for a certain period of time, but their communication with their peers should not be broken. In these and similar cases, help from experts should be sought, auxiliary training programs should be used, and skill development methods such as "playmate" should be applied.

Education should be continued with the transfer of information that will be most useful in daily life. Thus, people in the education process both get the chance to repeat the information they have learned and start to benefit directly from the education. A strong communication habit that can be established in this process enables the deficiencies to be noticed quickly. It creates the chance of early intervention and prevents the trainees from getting away from the process.

Individuals can maintain their existence in society by expressing themselves and understanding the expectations of the other party. For this reason, a comfortable life can only be achieved by establishing a healthy communication process.
