Astral travels are spiritual experiences available to anyone. There are those who affirm that our ancestors practiced these movements in order to know the world, even other planets.
Those who achieve astral detachment are known as oneironauts, and each of them may have a different technique to achieve physical detachment. However, even today that is what is known about this technique.
Let us clarify that our human nature is endowed with various bodies: the physical body, the etheric body, the upper and lower astral body, the mental body and the causal body.
Some writers say that the astral body is composed of a subtle matter, of luminous appearance, but identical to the physical one. When we sleep, the astral rises about 50 centimeters above us and that is when we begin to dream. But a simple noise can make the unfolding return to the physical body.
We must also differentiate the four groups of astral travel:
The involuntary and unconscious astral travel is the one that occurs while we sleep and happens outside of our will. It is believed that at this time our being acquires energy through the silver cord (a kind of umbilical cord that ties us to the astral world) and with this we recover from physical wear and tear.
Voluntary and unconscious astral travel occurs when, suddenly, without apparent explanation and without wanting it, we wake up on an astral plane.
Many times we think it was a dream, but we are wrong. It is something like a lucid and involuntary dream in which we see ourselves. It usually occurs when we suffer a great emotional shock or are anesthetized or on the verge of death.
Voluntary and conscious astral travel is the conscientious exploration of the astral plane, in which, through specialized techniques, we float freely in the astral world, we enrich ourselves, and when we return, we remember what happened.
Now let's see how we can reach any of the states previously described.
Here are two suggested techniques:
1. Pharaoh Mantram Technique
It is specially designed for those who can easily concentrate very well.
The person lies down with the arms and legs extended and relaxed. Close your eyes and mentally repeat the word "pharaoh", but with the following rhythm: We pronounce faaaaaaa "mentally while we inhale.
Then, again with the mind, we say "raaaaaa", but this time while we expire; We inhale again, inwardly pronouncing the syllable "ónnnnnn" and repeat the exercise over and over again until images pass through our mind. Then we will feel a strange vibration and we will enter into absolute relaxation. This is when we are ready to leave our body.
2. Rusti Mantram Technique
The person lies back and relaxes just like in the "Pharaoh Mantram" method. Then, mentally, you try to imagine that you are in a room where everything is white. Think that there is a white curtain and you must go through it.
Inwardly emit an "ommmmm" over and over again, slowly. You will feel the need to go to the imaginary curtain and walk through it. Then you will feel your body begin to vibrate and that is when astral detachment occurs. In both techniques the The sound of water or a waterfall can help to reach the trip.
