The soft caress of the wind on her face kept her calm and constantly in thoughts. She looked far, beyond the houses, to the place where the roof touched the sky. The clouds slowly moving, forming beautiful patterns and casting shadows on the Earth. She looked down from the balcony on the first floor where she sat, to the tall green grass swaying in the wind, the sound of them brushing against each other spread across the landscape. - Nature was beautiful, and in it she saw HIM.
Of all the things that came from HIM, this - nature - spoke more of him because each sway, each sound, each flow, each movement, showed HIS presence. God is not visible to the naked eye but he can be made known in hiss works and man has been given the grace to seek him out, to find him. But having been separated spiritually by the fall of the first man, a real, sincere, genuine one on one relationship with HIM seems far fetched.
God's gift of free will to man has increased the distance between us more than anything has. This gift is the reason why anything that has widen the gap has done so because God takes no pleasure in forceful worship.
"I have given to you the freedom to choose of two different paths, one to eternal life and righteousness, the other to death and eternal damnation. Selah"
