Since when we were in elementary school, we've been taught all of the body parts and its importance, from our Brain to our toes. Learning and having an enough knowledge about it is very important as we need to take care of all our body parts to have a good health.
Learning to love and take care of our body at a young age helps everyone grow keeping their bodies strong, healthy and safe.
Internal Body Organs
The brain
Some of its functions include elaboration of thought, feeling or emotions, muscle control and coordination, sensory perception and memory storage.
Must to remember:
The *Brain* is injured when you start thinking negative thoughts. So be optimistic always.
The Lungs
Its function is to provide oxygen from inhaled air to the bloodstream and to exhale carbon dioxide.
Must to remember:
The *LUNGS* are injured when you breathe in smoke, dirt and polluted environment of cigarettes and bidi. Always take care your body don't do or use anything that might harm your lungs.
The stomach
Its main function is to digest the food we take. Through production of gastric juices the food we ate breaks down and churn the food into a thin liquid
Must to remember:
The *STOMACH* is injured when you do not have breakfast in the morning.
I know a lot of you out there misses your breakfast sometimes. It's okay to miss like 1 day but make sure to have on the next day. Breakfast is very important as it gives you strength to do your task in the whole day.
The heart
Its main function is to pump blood through the blood vessels by repeated, rhythmic contractions.
Must to remember
The *HEART* is injured when you eat your meal with more salt and cholesterol. Be more cautious on the food you want to it. We must take care of our heart because if it stop pumping, then you're dead.
The liver
Its main function is to process the contents of the blood to ensure its composition and remains the same.
Must to remember:
The *LIVER* is injured when you eat heavy fried food, junk, and fast food.
The kidneys
It excrete waste products and excess fluid in the form of urine. It is to maintain the body's chemical balance.
Must to remember:
The *KIDNEYS* are injured when you do not even drink 10 glasses of water in 24 hours.
I think all of us are aware of this. We must drink 8-10 glasses a day.
The bladder
Its store urine and contracts to release urine.
Must to remember
The *GALLBLADDER* is injured when you drink alcohol and caffeine often times. When you drink not enough water.
You must drink enough fluids, especially water. If you plan to drink alcohol, limit it. And Have an exercise daily
Small Intestine
Its function is to absorb most ingested food.
Must to remember:
The *small INTESTINE* is injured when you eat cold and stale food.
Large Intestine
Its function is to absorb water and excrete solid waste material.
Must to remember
The *Large intestines* are injured when you eat more fried and spicy food.
The Pancreas
It converts the food we eat into fuel for the body's cells
Must to remember:
The *PANCREAS* is injured when you eat more sweet because of the taste and freely available.
So keep your body parts healthy.
Take care of the parts of your body and do not scare them.
