Assalamualaikum dear readers
I hope you all are fine. Now i am here with another part of The book named unfinished autobiography! Let's just start it
One party decided not to leave the Sheikhs
One party decided not to leave the Sheikhs without finishing anything. An old Kazi, his name is Serajatullah Kazi. He had three sons and one daughter. The boys conspired and killed the old father by strangling him in greed for money and left him on the roof of the cow house. Only three brothers and their sister knew about this incident. He scared his sister and kept her quiet. Sheikh left the body at home and went to the police station overnight to report it and brought the body with the police and arrested everyone in the house. The sheikhs have to face a terrible situation.
My grandfather's uncle and Renu's grandfather's father came home from Calcutta declaring themselves bankrupt. The property of Calcutta was exhausted. Then, when everyone was arrested, no one was seen - the big businessmen, sailors and traders sank the boat and began to disappear. Earlier, considerable money had been spent on Tamizuddin's murder.
The zamindari was also auctioned off and almost everything was gone. The case went on for a long time. Everyone in the lower court went to jail. Eventually the case started in the Calcutta High Court. Our Advocate applied to the High Court for re-inquiry of the case by the CID. Because, this case is conspiratorial. When the High Court saw the case and started doubting,
The inquiry started again
An officer pretends to be mad and goes to our village to find out. One night, the three sons of Serajatullah Qazi got into a quarrel and one of the brothers said to the other, "I did not say that nothing will happen to the sheikhs, the father should not be killed like that." The other brother said, "You strangled the father, so the father died." Gone. ” The sister said, "Dad wanted some water, but you wouldn't let me." The CID heard this after fleeing from their home, and three days later, three brothers and a sister were arrested and forced to confess that they had killed their father.
Shekhara was released and was jailed for life. Shekhara survived the case, but disappeared. There was no business, zamindari was over, little taluk and khas land, the Sheikh dynasty survived only for khas land. They had some khas land. And some land around the house was tax-free. My grandfather used to spend his days playing dice at home as he did not have any difficulty in eating. Everyone played chess and dice all day, eating and sleeping was the job. They knew Persian language and also possessed Bengali language. Renu's grandfather is my grandfather's cousin, he wrote his biography in beautiful Bengali. Renu also got a few pages of it when his grandfather wrote off all the property to Renu and his sister. Renu's father means my father-in-law and uncle died in front of his father. According to Muslim law, Renu does not get his property. By writing off his grandfather's property for Renu not having any uncles Go.
A lot of history of our dynasty would have been available
If we had got his biography. But I can't say who or what made it disappear, because a lot of things can come out. Renu searched a lot, did not find. There are many more such short stories, how many are true and how many are false.
However
Despite the misfortune of the Sheikhs, they could not tolerate the English. They fell far behind because they could not accept English and did not read English. The property of Muslims is much higher. The family grew, the property began to divide, and the financial situation worsened day by day. However, the condition of one or two of the clans was good.
The Sheikh family started studying English from the time of my grandfathers. My grandfather's condition was not very good. Because the grandfathers were three brothers, later separated. My grandfather's older brother was a very wise man; He used to judge the country. My grandfather died suddenly. My great uncle passed the entrance and died. My father then read the entrance. My father faced great danger with his younger siblings. My grandfather's older brother had no son. There were four daughters. My father married his youngest daughter and wrote all the property to my mother.
My grandfather's name was Sheikh Abdul Majid. My grandfather's name is Sheikh Abdul Hamid. The younger grandfather's name is Sheikh Abdur Rashid. He later got the title 'Khan Saheb' given by the English. The people knew him as 'Khan Saheb'. My father's condition changed a bit, but his two uncles' education, his uncle's marriage, everything came to his head. He was forced to leave his studies and go out in search of a job. It was very difficult for Muslims to get jobs in those days. He eventually got a job in the civil court, after which he became a sergeant. The day I passed matriculation and went to study at Islamia College in Calcutta, my father also went home with his pension.
An event needs to be written, surely many will be surprised. I may be twelve or thirteen years old when I get married. After Renu's father died, his grandfather called my father and said, “I have to marry one of my granddaughters to your eldest son. Because I will give all the property to their two sisters. ” Renu's grandfather is my father's uncle. My marriage with Renu was registered to obey the order of the rabbi. I heard I was married. I didn't understand anything then, Renu would be maybe three years old then. Renu's mother died when she was five years old. Only his grandfather remained. Dadao Renu died at the age of seven.
Then, he moved in with my mother. Renu grew up with my siblings. Renu's elder sister also got married to another cousin of mine. They stayed at my father-in-law's house, because Renu and I did not need a house. Renu's house was next to our house, only two hands apart. Other events can be found in the events of my life.
