Thetan Arena: I Earned $7 In One Day | Gaming

Blockchain gaming and NFT is still a trend until now, it seems that half of this year is more on NFT and Gaming when the “boom” of Axie Infinity started. Many developers also started to launch their own games. Recently, Thetan Arena caught the attention of the crowd because of its gameplay. This game is a MOBA game or simply like Mobile Legends where you need to fight with a person, PvP mode. It also runs under the Binance Smart Chain Network so you will spend less fee compared to other games.

The best thing about this game is you will earn even without investment and earn a decent amount of their in-game currency, Thetan coin. In my case, I earned approximately $7 in one day of using this game. It is quite hard to earn if you do not buy your own hero since you need to rely on your rank not per win.

Upon signing up on this link, you will receive 3 free heroes that you can use in the battle; Assassin, Marksman, and Tank. These heroes are free but most likely not an NFT because everyone has the same hero. On the other hand, you can buy your NFT in the market place which costs a lot of investment. Some of them cost 6-10 WBNB (more or less $5,000). You will rarely see less than 1 WBNB. If you believe in the project and have extra money, it's up to you if you will invest in this game. Furthermore, you can also buy heroes for a cheaper price but they are also (maybe) not NFT because some users also have a copy of those heroes.

Gameplay

This game has different types of battle; Duo and Solo Battle Royale, Tower, Deathmatch, and Stars.

Duo and Solo Royale

In Duo Battle Royale, you have one ally and both of you must help each other to survive. You will fight another pair of players and one of you should stay in the game until you are the only one left. If you are playing Mobile Legends and familiar with survival mode, then this is easy to understand. In Battle Royale, you must survive in the whole game until you are the last man survivor. The game has a big circle at the beginning and it is shrinking at the given time. If you did not enter the circle before it shrinks, you will lose your life and be considered as game over. Meanwhile, in Solo Battle Royale, it has the same concept and objective, the only difference is you need to fight without an ally.

Tower

The tower mode looks the same as Mobile Legends. The main objective is to destroy the tower of your opponent. But there is a small difference in Mobile Legends because both of the teams need to get the one and only battery. If your team holds the battery for the given time, then your team will have an ally robot. This robot is the only character that can push and destroy the tower. This is why the team needs to get the battery and protect it from your opponent. 

This game consists of 2 teams and equal members on every team. It depends on the player on what heroes they should use.

Death Match

This time, the only objective is to kill your opponent. The more opponents you kill, the more chances of winning. The number of kills of your team are counted by the system. The team that has a higher number of kills will win the game. 

This time, you will work for your team. You have teammates and the objective is to kill other opponent players.

Star

In this battle, the objective is to collect as many stars as you can on the map with your teammates. Every player can carry stars and when the carrier get killed, your opponent or your teammates could get the stars that you carried. 

The stars are appearing randomly on the map and the players must collect it. When the timer reaches zero, the team that carries more stars is the winner.

Other features:

Referral program, this game also offers referral. The inviter will receive 3 gTHC if his invitee played 5 games in the game. The more invites, the more gTHC you will earn.

In my case, I already have 32 gTHC which is approximately $7 as of writing. I invited 3 of my friends to the game and received 9 gTHC.

One of the best features in this game is you can communicate and invite your friends to the game. If you have a friend, you can invite them to play with you depending on the battle that you want, excluding Solo Battle Royale.

Conclusion

I looked at the roadmap of the game and the developers had a lot of plans for the game. One thing that I am excited about is the Hero Rental, more chance of winning if you rented a quality hero.

I think this game will stay longer in the community especially if the players will look for a long term. Looking at the number of other Moba Games, this one will probably explode in the future.
