Splinterlands: Death Splinter Mission With A Powerful Neutral Monster
I heard a lot about Splinterlands as a play-to-earn blockchain game under the Hive Blockchain. I had a blog before about the simple review and tutorial of Splinterlands. There is one thing that I can say about the game; it is a good game with an affordable investment compared to other play-to-earn games which is $10.
I am here to share my gameplay today. The weekly challenge given is Giant Roc. Unfortunately, I don't have this card so I will share my experience with Disintegrator, a neutral monster in Splinterlands.
My mission is to win using Death Splinter to get my daily loot chest. Among the 6 splinters, Death is my favorite, especially Thaddius Brood, which can reduce the life and magic attack of the opponent.
Among my gameplays, using Disintegrator is my favorite to accomplish my mission. Before the game started, I noticed that my opponent was using Fire Splinter, specifically Tarsa, which gives additional life and Melee attack. Having +1 Melee attack will give a strike, thus, I predicted to counter it.
Since I have a Death Splinter mission, I used Thaddius Brood. I used Disintegrator which has Demoralize ability. It can reduce the Melee attack of all opponent monsters. It has 7 Mana, 2 Melee Attack, 2 Armor, 5 lives, and 1 speed. His skills suit to be a tank and frontliner.
I used Cursed Windeku for the second position. This is my favorite monster in Death Splinter. Having the Thorn ability makes it a great and strong monster. I usually use it as a frontliner, but not this time. It has 6 Mana, 2 Melee damage, 3 speed and 9 lives. He will be better if he has a Sneak or Opportunity ability.
Last card as a backliner was Death Elemental. I also use this frequently, the magic attack is one of the best for me because it ignores the armor of the opponent. It has a Snipe ability which makes it stronger. The only problem is it has lower life, 3 Mana, 1 Magic damage, 3 speed and 2 lives.
I used these 3 cards for this game. At first, I hesitated at my positioning, especially since Cursed Windeku has no sneak ability. There is a chance that he will die before he attacks someone.
After making a position, I was surprised that my opponent used Death Splinter as well, Thaddius Brood. We only had differences in the chosen cards.
He used Cursed Windeku as frontliner, and Undead Badger at the second position. It has a 1 life, which makes it weak, but having 3 speeds and lower mana makes it a flexible card.
He used Life Sapper as his mage, having Life leech ability. It is also a good strategy for stealing life from the enemy. 3 Mana, 1 Magic Damage, 2 Speed and 2 Lives. I rarely use this card because it has high mana but slower cards.
Lastly, he used Silent Sha-vi as a backliner probably to avoid dying of his low-health cards. 5 mana, 2 melee damage, 3 speed and 5 lives. Luckily, he had -1 Melee damage. Thanks to Demoralize of Disintegrator.
Silent Sha-vi attacked my Cursed Windeku giving him -2 life per attack because of Thorn ability. Meanwhile, his Life Sapper died immediately from the beginning after getting hit by my Death Elemental. Undead badger wants a rematch and killed my Death Elemental.
Fortunately, the undead badger hits my Cursed Windeku at Round 1 and makes him die by the Thorn ability. His backliner was knocked down by my Cursed Windekus ability.
In round 3, he only had Cursed Windeku. He finished my Disintegrator at this round, leaving the 2 windekus in the arena. Luckily, my Windeku still has 5 lives while his was 4. 1 attack from me gives me -2 by his Thorn. Lastly, he attacks my card with his 2 lives but he was unlucky after dying with my card's ability.
I got 18 credits for finishing my daily loot chest. Honestly, I am still having a hard time using the new deck of cards. Unlike before where I always use the Water Splinter that gives me +1 Magic attack. Venari wavesmith rocks that time! Good old days.
As of now, my favorite splinter is Death. Its ability to reduce the magic attack and life of the opponent will put you an advantage.
