This is the last article that I published on the year 2020. I'm very grateful that I discovered this kind of platform where I earned, learned and built a camaderie. I considered this as an unexpected blessing.

Since we experienced and encountered a lot of challenges this year of 2020, I want to help everyone to start their year with an informational article that can help them in making their day productive and keep their mental health healthy. I think you need to know more about your mental health and how can we boost it.

By the way this topic was suggested by this young lady, @Mnymosyne 😆

Are you afraid that you might be depress because of your experiences? Are you nervous because of being stressed? Did you experienced a lot of challenges that can affect your mental health? If your answer is yes, then it's better to read this carefully because you will not regret reading this unlike my previous article that can make you manipulate using your own mind and curiosity.

How can we boost our mental health?

Know your achievements
Most of the people didn't know about this. Knowing your achievements is a must because you can see your worth by seeing and knowing your achievements. Some people are always blaming and didn't trust themselves for unknown reason. They are always looking on their mistakes but didn't look on the good sides that they did. In a result, they will overthink and leads into stress and worst is depression.

Always give a value and worth for yourself so it will have a good result on your mental health. Cheering up yourself is the medicine for overthinking.

Start your day with a cup of coffee
Did you know that coffee can lower the risk of depression? A study said that coffee can lower the risk of depression up to one third (⅓). However, you need to keep it balance because too much coffee on your body can cause palpitation.

If you're not allowed to drink coffee, you can try a green tea. It is one of the best alternative for coffee.

Have a bonding
Setting up a plan for vacation with your friend is such a good thing! It can be a camping, strolling, going to a park and etc. It can help your brain to relax and calm. Also, setting up of get-together or looking forward to your plan with your friends can boost your mental health up to eight weeks!

Work with your strengths and face your weaknessess
Do the things what you love and where you interested. It can build your self-confidence, self-esteem and boost your mental health. After doing those things, you can try to face your weaknessess and tackle a tougher task. Let's use my own experience as an example, I'm actually not a fan of writing but when I discovered read.cash, I learned a lot and write an article everytime when I have a topic.

Discover!
Seeking and experimenting other thing can help you to boost your mental health! Like what I said earlier, I discovered read.cash and it can actually help to improve my mental health, vocabulary, wallet and things like cryptocurrency.

Show your love
Showing your love can also help to boost your mental health. It can help to produce happy hormones and prove this phrase, "close, quality, and relationships are the key for a happy and better life.

Eat chocolates specifically dark chocolates
According to the study, eating chocolates can help your brain to produce serotonin—happy hormones—it can also help to improve alertness and mental health.

Always remember to keep your balance when eating chocolates because it can also increase your blood sugar level.

Don't stop your yawn
According to the study, yawning can improve your alertness and mental efficiency. It can also help to cool your brain.

Write your experiences
Do you have a bad day today? Are you unlucky today? Maybe there's a thing that can make you upset? Then the best solution is to write it! Write your experiences in a piece of paper and you can call it as your diary. By writing those things, it can reduce your negative thoughts and helps to boost your mental health.

Play with your pets
Having a pets on your house is a great idea for an individual. Research says that having a pet can help to produce your oxytocin and lower the stress hormones—cortisol—it can also stimulate your happiness and as a result, it can boost your mental health.

Forgive and forgive
Forgiving a person is a good move for you as an individual because who are we not to forgive a person, right? When you forgive a person you can feel relieved and free everyday. On the other hand, forgiving yourself is the best move for us as an individual. It's hard to forgive yourself especially when you did a one wrong act but forgiving yourself is priceless, you can't forgive others if you can't forgive yourself. It is just an application of this phrase, "You can't give what you do not have".

Look at the opportunity not on the threats
Being a positive person is always a good choice. When you learned to look at the brighter side of your life, no one can bring you down. Always remember this, "In every chaos, there's an opportunity" meaning, not all challenges is just a challenge, it is teaching us to be a strong and wise person.

Be yourself
In every situation, be yourself. Everytime, be yourself. Don't try to change yourself for the sake of others because no one can dictate at you. No one can manipulate you unless you let them. Accept yourself so you'll not thinking about negative thoughts and avoid self-consciousness.

FINAL THOUGHTS
As a final analysis, boosting your mental health is such a great move for everyone. Remember, our mind is important. Health is wealth, if our mental health was affected, ourselves was also affected.

Take care of your mental health because it is very important to us. Don't live on a stressful life, always live on a happy life! Your choices is on your hands!
