Night of attack on Imam Ali a.s (shab-e-zurbat) at kufa mosque.
The commander of sincerity,the caretaker of orphans,the shelter for needy people.How blessed he(pbuh) was that,he was born in the House of Allah (Holy Kabaa),and martyred in the House of Allah(Masjid-e-Kufaa) .
On the 19th of this holy month of Ramadan 40 A.H,He (pbuh) had two sons named Imam Hassan a.s & Imam Hussain a.s both always came with moula Ali a.s for offering namz but at that day moula Ali a.s refused them & said them offer morning prayer at home, When he was leaving his home the birds were chirping in sad voice where one of his co-worker was stoping them but Ali a.s refused not to say anything to them ,Imam Ali a.s came to the mosque at Masjid-e-Kufaa(situated in Iraq) for his morning prayer where Imam Ali used to give the morning call (Azaan) and was engaged in leading an assembly of people's (jamaet) for worship & was willing to offer morning prayer (fajar) ...But it was the worst day for all Islamic religion people that they lost a person who was the apple of an eye for whole humanity,he was the protector for the hard time that's why he was titled as shair-e-khudaa .So moving ahead when moula Ali as was going to start first raqat ,a person was standing just behind Hazrat Imam Ali a.s & was pretending to pray but when moula Ali a.s was in a state of prostration ,Ibn-e-Mulajim attacked on moula Ali a.s head & dealt a heavy stroke with his sword , it was deep wound on the head of moula Ali a.s .It was heartbreaking,shocking& mournful incident for his household and for All Muslim ummah.
The crime of assassinating Imam Ali a.s remains one of the most cruel , bloodthirsty & hideous because it was not committed against one person ,but was committed against whole rational Islamic leadership.
Moula Ali was injured on 19th of Ramadan and unfortunately died after 3 days means on 21st of ramdan but still he didn't forget to praise Almighty Allah ,he even didn't let off namaz ,he still continue to give beautiful lessons to his household (BiBi Fatima R.a) & his 2 sons till his last breath .He (pbuh) taught them not to get revenge, always take care of human beings & should be helpful to them always ..There are Soo many lessons from his life I couldn't write here because his works are long that can't be written in short article.
I want to quote some beautiful lines said by moula Ali a.s that:
The moment you start arguing with an arrogant fool,you have already lost!
So you can imagine how good personality he was....
The worst day in history!!!!!!!! Because nation lost a heroism,& courageous person.
