You are stable in terms of Bitcoin Cash, but its value in $ changes with the exchange rate (which changes all the time). What you have is BCH, not $. So if BCH falls in value (in terms of $), your possession of BCH is worth less seen in $. But look at how much BCH you have. You will see that that value is stable.
