Most times we feel so down due to challenges or life circumstances, at a point like this we feel like giving up, and this pushes us to talk to people about our predicament.
The reason for sharing our problems with friends most time is to lighten the burden in our heart because a problem shared is half solved, at least that's what we believe but sometimes a problem shared is not half solved rather it is broadcasted and this can increase your distress.
At times when we share our problems, all we get is a pity, and no solution to the problem, yes pity sorts the heart at that moment but does it take the problem away? no. So why call for pity party when it can't solve any problem. Your problem will always remain your problem unless you get a solution to it, it goes nowhere.
Sharing your problems with people who you know have no solutions to it is just calling for a pity party, it's nice to share your problems but be mindful of who you share your problems with, don't be too fast in letting people into your personal life, if not one day they may use it against you.
When you are faced with difficulties, learn to find courage in yourself, always tell yourself*I can do it, I will scale through* the best encouragement is one you give to yourself.
Always believe that problem beyond you, will not befall you, any problem you encounter in life, you are bigger than that problem, just relax your mind first, scan through your mind to know if your problem, is from you, this will help you get a solution fast, the solution to every problem starts with identifying that problem, after identifying the problem seek for a solution from people who can help not people who will only throw a pity party for you.
Be strong and believe in yourself, most people you share your problems with, you are better than them and some may not help out, meet a professional counsellor if you need one.
