What happened to letter writing?
I started with a question because I really want to us to think about it as we read through this post. Back in the days when boys knew how to properly woo a lady, letter writing was one of the ways to communicate their feelings and it was considered very special. Every lady looked forward to getting a letter from the guy she was crushing on. Guys back then knew the right lines to use in their letters. Perhaps they listened to a lot of love songs back in these days or were just poetically inclined.
The address, the introduction, the body of the letter, all well thought out. Funny enough, they aren't bold enough to hand over these letters to their love interests. They find a way to pass the letter across and hope she appreciates and sends a beautiful reply.
Back in the days, dating was so much fun. Lovers were shy to express themselves and letter writing was just the perfect means. You pour out your heart and soul and longed for a reply from the one your heart beats for. I don't know how many of you can relate with this but in this age and time, people no longer write letters. Infact, it seems like guys are no longer interested in wooing ladies. Once the communication is smooth and lively, it is automatically assumed that a relationship is about to blossom.
Would you love to go back to the days of letter writing?
