Think Creatively

Our brain is given the capacity to think, to innovate, to analyze, to synthesize, to invent, to formulate, to imagine to create ... yet we seldom do so.

Try making use of your creativity. Remember the clay you played with in Kindergarten? The clay became anything your mind and your hands wanted it to be ... a ball, a snake, a basket, a turtle, a planet, a dinausor, a car, a doll, a gun, a spaceship, a house, a plate, a bottle, a box and many more. The possibilities were endless. God has given us something more than clay. God has given us the capacity to think and the whole world to mold, to sculpt, to paint, to develop and use for our own good. We are supposed to use what God has provided us to improve our lives. The problem is, we sometimes just wait for the guava to fall "instead of aiming to get it ourselves.

Thinking is the hardest work of all and that's why so few of us do it! Think of where our world would be if no one took the time to think, to invent, to discover,to improve, or to innovate.

Let's start our mind to do the creative process; Here are some suggestions:

THINK BIG

Don't be satisfied with simple, ordinary things. If you can make a mountain, why make an anthill ? No one is pleased with mediocre work. You always have to give your best.

THINK NEW

It has been proven that it really is hard to change old ways, old patterns of thinking, old procedures. But if you want to improve, if you want to know how to do things better, then you must not be afraid to try out new ideas. However, don't just think of changing for the benefit of change. Ask yourself too if the change will be an improvement to you or beneficial.

THINK POSITIVE

Whether you believe you can, or whether you believe you can't, you're absolutely right (by: Henry Ford) Don't be a loser. As the saying goes, "If there's a will, there's a way." Persistence pays.

THINK DARING

Some people fail because they never tried. They were afraid to do so. Be willing then to take calculated risks. "Behold the turtle" ( James Conan Bryant observed. " he makes progress only when he sticks hes neck out".

We will do an experiment let us test our Creativity. Let's say we will do a product like clothes, what thinking enters your mind?

What will we do or think first?

First we will choose a catchy name for the product, one that is easy to remember and pronounce. Those name who just can't forget. Then let's describe the product using stylish adjective, the easy way to offer to buyers. We will have the best dialogue we can think of to sell the product. We will also make the setting best suited for the commercial. Then jingle of course may use common, catchy tunes with original lyrics. and lastly we will choose the appropriate type of clothing / costumes. And we are Done, Ready to present our product.

The Judges or Promotions will Evaluate each based on the following Criteria;

Creativity - 30℅

(for clothes, stage design,print ad and over all presentation.)

Originality - 30%

( for script, jingle)

Ingenuity - 20℅

( for making use of raw existing, cheap materials/props)

Expression - 20%

( for acting ability, stage presence, facial expressions, gestures, pacing, delivery of lines, blocking, etc.)

( Michaelangelo, a sculpture, painter and poet, was once said to be walking by a construction site when he saw na rough slab of marble on the ground. Asking about it, he learned that the builders had thrown it away because its size and shape did not make it fit to be used in the buildings construction. Michelangelo took the slab home. Sure enough, through careful Chiseling, out of the piece of marble that the builders had rejected, there emerged an exquisite angel.... A MARVELOUS WORK OF ART ).
