Tomato? No! That's Pomodoro
Are you aware of this technique? are you having a hard time with your time management? If yes! this technique you'll ever need.
Anyway ...
(Pomodoro is Italian for tomato. 🍅)
This popular time management method asks you to alternate pomodoros — focused work sessions — with frequent short breaks to promote sustained concentration and stave off mental fatigue or simply.
Find little distractions often detail the whole workday
Have lots of open-ended work that could take unlimited amounts of time (e.g., studying for an exam, research for a blog post, etc.)
Are overly optimistic when it comes to how much you can get done in a day (aren't we all 🙃)
Consistently work past the point of optimal productivity
This is how it works
Pick a task/ get a to-do list
set a 25-minute timer/focus on a single task until the timer rings.
work on your time until the time is up/ when the session ends mark off one Pomodoro and record what you completed
Take 5 - a minute break
Every 4 pomodoros, take a longer 15-30 minute break.
Then, repeat!
This is really helpful and useful for me as I have a lot of tasks every day such as; meetings, deadlines, interviews, and payroll processing.
Applying Pomodoro is the best thing that you can do. A really life Saver!
