The father

Lucy's mom was a stewardess.  The Story began when Lucy was 5 years old.  one day her mother was her on her flight. Suddenly she noticed a strange couple on the plane. A Rich man, I was sitting by a girl. It was not as usual. So she went to them and asked the girl if she was alright. But the man answered instead of the girl. He forbade Lucy's mom to bother them. 

The stewardess felt something wrong and so she wanted to make sure if the girl was okay. She left a piece of paper and pen for her in the toilet. When the girl went into the toilet and left after a few minutes. Lucy's mom was just out of the toilet. When the girl came out, they looked at each other.

The stewardess went to the toilet right after that and got a note. It was written:

I am afraid of my husband! I need help!

She was shocked at the note and decided to help her. She went to the pilot and reported it to him. But the girl's husband overheard that and became furious. He damaged equipment on the plane and because of this, a fire started.

The pilot somehow managed to land in the nearby airport as an emergency. The stewardess evacuated all the passengers. And she was the last one to escape and received serious burns. The injured were soon admitted to the hospital.

The stewardess's husband came to visit her. Her condition was not good at all because 80% of her body was burnt. Her husband told her that before she left, he wanted her to tell Lucy who he really was. But she replied a no and said that Lucy was only 5 years old. She handed a letter to him and told him to give Lucy that letter when she turned 18. Her husband said that he would do as she said. And the next day, she left the world.

13 years later...

The man kept his word and gave Lucy the letter on her 18th birthday. Lucy was so astonished and exclaimed that it said there that he was not her father. He replied that it was true and the letter contained information about her real father. Lucy was very keen to meet his real father.

And within a few days she found her. She met her dad and had a wonderful day with him. She asked him to tell her why he had left them. He replied that he didn't leave; her mother actually kicked him out. Lucy was so shocked and asked the reason.

He said that right after giving birth, her mom wanted to go to work and he stayed at home and took care of Lucy. Her business trips were longer each time and he suspected that she was cheating on him. And very soon, his suspects came to be true when she came home with Lucy's stepdad. In the same day, she kicked him out.

He had no where to go and had to live on the street. So, then he had heath problems and he could not work. Then Lucy asked him why he hadn't called her all those years. He replied that her stepfather forbade him to do so. Lucy felt sad for her father.

She returned home and started packing her things. Her stepdad asked her what was going on. She replied that she knew the truth and she didn't want to live with him.

The very same day, she moved in with her dad. She started taking care of him. She cooked and cleaned for him too. She was so excited to find him that she didn't notice how he began to use her.

Soon there was no food in the house and her dad came to her. He told her that they were out of food again. But Lucy replied that she had no more money. And then he requested her to come up with something. So, Lucy had to drop out of university and get a job at a factory.

The other day, he came to her and said that he needed 100 thousand dollar right then. But she replied that she didn't have that kind of money. He then said that her stepfather did and told her to take it from his safe.

Lucy thought all night about what she should do. She thought that she didn't want to lose her dad again. And the next night, Lucy snuck into her stepfather's house and took everything from his safe.

The next morning she handled the money to her father and said that she had done everything he had asked. Few days later, Lucy returned to home from work. She pushed the key to opened the door but the lock was changed. Then she knocked and her dad opened it. he addressed her as thief and told her to get out of there or he would call the police.

Lucy was so shocked at his sudden changed. And she had nowhere to go but her stepfather's house. She cried so hard and he hugged her. She begged forgiveness from him and said that she was so stupid. Lucy was sure that her stepfather would turn her away. But he said sorry instead. He said that it was his fault that he didn't protect her. He said that her father had taken advantage of her like how he had used her mom until she kicked him out.

At that moment, Lucy realized that her real dad was around all that time. He took care of her after her mom passed away. He had sleepless nights while she was sick and worried about her health. He braided her hair before school and cooked the most delicious cakes for her birthday parties. All the time her real dad was around and she didn't need another one.

A father is not one who makes a child, but the one who raises them.
