The waiter was closing the entry so that the general people couldn't enter the restaurant. They were expecting people from high class and well dressed people to keep up their image.

That time a young lady on wheel chair appeared there and wanted to enter. The waiter told her that she was not allowed into the restaurant. That lady couldn't understand what was going on. He told her to go away because that day was a private evening. But she said that she had a reservation. It was for Mrs. White. The waiter had to check the reserved list and he found it. But he didn't say anything and so she said if he needed her help to find out and told him the spelling too 'W-H-I-T-E'.

The waiter was ordered so and he again told her that she would not get inside and suggested to park her wheel chair somewhere else. Mrs. White could understand that he wouldn't listened to her and so she asked him to call the manager.

He called and the manager, Jill came there. She asked Mrs. White how she could help her. She said that she had a reservation. Jill got astonished and asked her if she had not been told that they had a private function that day. Mrs. White again told them that she had been confirmed by phone that morning and the last name was White.

Jill also checked the reservation list and found Mrs. White there. She said that indeed, Mrs. White was on the list. Hearing this she was about to enter and move her wheel chair. But Jill said that she was afraid she could not go inside. She couldn't understand anything this time too.

Jill said that Mrs. White were not dressed according to their dress code. Because all visitors have to wear high-heeled shoes where she was wearing sneakers. Her legs was disabled and so she did not wear that. Jill suggested her that there was a van across the street. They had delicious hot dogs and they always had free tables. She suggested her to go to there instead and said good bye to her.

Jill turned back to the waiter. He was laughing because of her cold behavior with Mrs. White. She asked if the critic had arrived and Mr. Brooke was there to come. It seemed that they did a very care about that. The waiter said that he had not come yet. Jill ordered him to tell her when he appeared and straightened his back. She told him to remember that the greeting was very important because it was their first impression.

Mrs. White had nothing to hear. She could understand she needed high heels to enter and left the place.

She went outside and their she saw a young high heeled lady. She went near her and the lady said that she was not buying anything as she thought Mrs. White a seller. But she told her that she was not selling anything; in fact quite the opposite.

The woman was eager to listen what the disabled woman says. Mrs. White told her that she would like to buy her shoes. The lady was surprised when she told that she could offer her double or triple price. The lady laughed and said why triple price and asked her if she had gone crazy. But she told her that she really really need them.

She said that she had cash and that should be enough. She opened her purse and gave her the money. The lady took them and told her that it was okay but she couldn't stay barefoot in the middle of the street. Then Mrs. White offered her to take her sneakers because they were quite new.

She went to the restaurant and this time she was able to enter. She sat on a chair and kept her wheel chair beside. She was ordering food with the menu card in hands. She ordered for a Clam Chowder for her but the waiter said no. She then asked for a Gumbo but this time the waiter also told no. For chicken, blueberry pie and etc it was a no from the waiter.

Mrs. White asked if there was any problem with their food. The waiter simply replied that she were not quite welcomed the restaurant. She asked the reason and asked again if it was because of her wheelchair. The waiter remained silent and she got her answer. She asked him if he didn't see a person in her at all.

She said that it was fine and she wanted to have the same food what was the gentle man ordered in her front table. She ordered for a coffee too. The waiter was about to go and she stopped him saying if that food contained nuts. He said yes. She said that she was allergic to nuts and asked what other choices could they offer to her. He this time said that there was nothing they would like to offer.

She said okay and requested him to bring her a nut free serving. But he said that it was impossible to serve so. Then she asked him what should she do then. He told her that he would bring a fork for her and she could take the nuts out by herself. It was weird but she didn't mind and requested him to put her phone on the charger and let her know if someone had called her. She added that she was waiting for a very important call. The waiter agreed and left.

She had got her food served just now and she could see the waiter standing near her phone. She decided to check if he would surely notify her. She had another phone in her purse and called to her charging phone. The waiter saw the phone ringing and that time he was called from a table.

The man on the table was with his fiance and asked the waiter to put on some tango as he wanted to dance. The waiter was rushing to set tango and Mrs. White stopped him and asked if someone had called her. The waiter said no. She again asked if he was sure about it. And once again he replied a no confidently and assured her that he was watching on her phone.

The man was about to dance and suddenly he crashed with Mrs. White's wheelchair. He looked at her and said it was a mess. He asked if there was a sign "For Cripples" on the door of the restaurant that the disabled lady had come there. He yelled to her and asked how she was even allowed in there and she had spoiled her appetite with her pathetic look.

This time the manager Jill showed up and asked the man politely if there was any problems. He explained that they had a problem. They wanted to dance but the cripple lady was blocking half of the hall. And added that she was ruining his mood. The manager politely begged sorry from him and assured him that they would fix everything.

Mrs. White became astonished and asked Jill if she was apologizing to him. The man said that he was not up for dancing anymore and it was all her fault. He also blamed Jill for this and went back to the table.

Jill went out of the place and ordered the waiter to take Mrs. White away and to roll her. She told that she didn't know but he had to move her and carry her in his arms elsewhere. She thanked God as Mr. Brooke hadn't arrived yet and didn't see that unpleasant thing. She ordered the waiter to bring the gentle man a piece of cake to apologize for spoiling his mood. And again ordered to take Mrs. White to the far corner.

The waiter went to Mrs. White and politely informed her that her table was reserved. He asked if she could take another table. But she told that she had ordered that particular table. The waiter told that disabled lady that he could do nothing about that and it was just a program failure.

Mrs. White told nothing and was taken to the far corner of the restaurant where no one used to sit. She finished her food and that time the waiter appeared and asked if he would bring her the bill. She told that she would tell him when she wanted the bill. She politely asked if he could take her to the restroom. The waiter replied a no this time too and said that she could not use the toilet in that restaurant. Because it was not for disabled people like her.

Mrs. White asked what did he mean. She thought for a while and moved the chair towards the waiter. And then she stood up!

She asked him if she was good enough to use their toilet then. That time Jill showed up and asked if there was any problem. Mrs. White shouted this time and said they had plenty of problems. She told them that she was fed up with their restaurant. She was fed up with disrespect and discrimination that she had faced there.

Jill couldn't understand anything to see Mrs. White standing on her own feet. She told her that there was no need to shout and she asked her to leave immediately. Mrs. White said yes and also told that she was leaving and her readers would be happy to read about that.

Then she told that she was Brooke White, a food critic. But she told them that they could call her their executioner and asked if they had anything to say. Jill and the waiter couldn't even think that this lady was the person they were waiting for that evening. But the person was a man and they told her that.

She asked them who had told them that or was it their assumption. She added that they could start packing their things as the restaurant was going to be closed. Jill begged pardon from her and told her that she was pretty sure it was a big misunderstanding. But she said that she had perfectly understand where she was going to. She asked them if they thought she hadn't read the reviews.

She told that people with disabilities complained that they were not allowed into the restaurant. Even if they were, they were treated rudely and not served well. So, Mrs. Brooke had to make sure of it herself. She added that she was glad to be there because then she would be able to close that place for sure and their professional reputation would be ruined forever and their personal one too.

Mrs. Brooke told them that she hoped that would teach them and their guests that were so into tango to respect the rights of people with disabilities. She was about to leave then and they stopped. The waiter and the manager were together begging pardon and Mrs. Brooke turned back.

She told that she had almost forgot one thing. Then she took her phone and took a photo of them. She told that the photo would go to the cover and she was sure her reader would be happy to see the faces of the heroes.

All people should be equal and have the same rights.
