Alex's parents got separated when he was 5 years old. His mom and dad always argued and that was for the last time. His mother told his father that she was leaving and taking their son.
Little Alex heard this from the doorstep and was so sad. He was afraid too. He remembered that he didn't want to leave and was crying saying, "Daddy, Daddy". But his mom would not stay and was not agree to leave him. So, he had to go.
They moved to another town and soon his mother married another man. His mom and her new husband were looking so happy. But on the wedding day, sitting in a corner he was just remembering his dad. He remembered that he loved his father very much and he was his hero. His dad also loved him very much. But as he grew older he heard more and more bad things about him from his mother. She told him that his father was a terrible person. She yelled at him when he thought of his father. She said that his father didn't want her to have him. Hearing this Alex was feeling so bad but his mother's new husband was laughing hard as it was a great joke. He felt worse when his mother joined him.
One day she was nailing and was observing Alex's work. He was mopping the floor and was listening to bad words about his father. His mother told him that his father hurt her so much and always brought his mistresses home. This was not all. When Alex did something she never liked it. She compared him with his father and immediately blamed it on him. She told Alex that he was just like his father. Alex could not tolerate it and requested his mother not to say so.
In no time he believed that his father indeed was a monster. He had a bad image of his father and thought that he didn't want to be like him. But a true monster was his mother's new husband. He disliked Alex with all of his heart. One day, little Alex was washing dishes and he came. He told him that if it was up to him Alex would have gone to a boarding school a long time ago. So, it was clear that he was not like a prince in that house.
His mother gave birth to their daughter and she adored her. Alex was also happy to get a sister and wanted to play with her. But his mother got angry and asked him why he was standing there. She then ordered him to change the baby's diaper. His mother told his sister as her treasure but treated him like a servant.
Alex had dreamed of becoming a doctor since he was a young kid. And when the time came to pick a college, he picked a medical one. And he got accepted! He was so happy and showed it to his mom and her new husband. He expected that at least his mother would be happy. But he also turned in into a monster. She asked him what he was so happy about. She told him that he was not going anywhere and he might as well forget about it. Alex was so shocked and asked the reason. His mother's husband replied that it was because who would help them with the house if he leave and addressed him as an ungrateful brat.
Alex could not stay there any longer and ran out of the house in tears. He walked continuously miles after miles and didn't know where he was going. He thought that was unfair and he would not return to that monsters. He kept walking without stopping for a few hours when he suddenly met him...His Father!
He was also walking and could recognize that boy. He drew attention to him saying, "Alex, is that you?" Alex just ran into his arms and cried. Even though they had not seen each other for over 10 years, they could recognize each other. His father hugged him and said that it was alright and now he was there for him. He told Alex the truth. His mother left his father for a lover. She took him away to make it even more painful for his dad. He kept sending Alex letters all those years but she just threw them away.
Alex believed that God brought him to his father to give them a second chance. The same day he left his mother forever. When he was leaving his mother cursed him that he would crawl back to her.
However, years later he became a successful doctor with his father's help. The old father told his son that he was so proud of him.
And years had gone by and one day his mother showed up at his door. She was not looking so charming like she was before. In fact, her torn and dirty clothes, unbrushed hair was proving that she was living on the street. But she still had that cunning eyes. She asked Alex if he could spare a couple of hundred dollars for his mother. She also said that she had heard things were great for him.
It was right but Alex could not forget how she had treated his innocent father and him, how she had separated them. So, he told her that she had got the wrong address and added that he had lost his mother years ago. And he closed the door for her forever.
Giving life to a child is not enough to be called a parent. First of all, you must give them your love!
Wooow ... What a tough story. Although his mother hurt him a lot, I think he should have been more generous with her and help her even though she did not deserve it, it is his mother who gave him life.
