Abandoned

Ela was a little girl, maybe she was 8-9 years old when this happened. She lived with her mom and dad. They were generous to her and never made her feel she was in prison. I mean to say it was just like a normal happy family.

But recently Ela made a friend. Every afternoon she went out to meet with him. So, when it was time, she went to her mom and took permission. Her mother never stopped her but told her to return before nightfall. She agreed and left. And her father never made any trouble. He only asked if she was again going out. She replied affirmatively and said that he was waiting for her.

However, she continued going out and meeting her friend. With this, her returning late at home, made her parents conscious. One day her mom asked her if her friend lived so far from them. She replied that he was living four blocks away. Then her mom told her to ask him to come to their house.

This should be normal. But Ela was nervous and sad. She told her mom that he was shy and didn't want to come. And this made her mom change her decision. She told that then she could not go to that boy. She condemned her daughter inside the house. Ela's father was also there and he tried to pacify his wife. He told her that she was being so rough with Ela. But she was angry and said that it was her final words. She could not allow Ela to have friendships with some randos. He asked her the reason but she simply replied with pride that it was because she was her daughter.

Days passed and Ela could not meet her friend because she promised her parents. Then one day she told her parents that she would ask Alan to come to their house and he would have lunch with them. Her parents were finally satisfied, more specifically her mom. So, she went out and brought him to their house.

When she reached with Alan, her parents went to the yard to welcome them. But they were stunned and froze for seconds when they discover black glasses on his eyes. Ela explained that he could not see, but it was not a big matter because he was so nice.

Her dad was feeling pity for that boy, but her mom became so angry for some unknown reason. She insulted that little boy with bullshit words her family never heard. She then didn't welcome home anymore, she told him to get out immediately and never try to reach their girl. Everyone was shocked at her behavior but things happened as she wanted.

Ela's dad could not understand the reason. He didn't know why she burst into anger seeing that weak boy instead of being kind. He didn't find anything wrong with it and tried to convince his wife. He told her that it was better because their daughter was raised like a generous person and that was important. But she was stone still on her words.

And then suddenly he learned everything. That night she overheard his wife talking with his mother-in-law. She told her mom that it was such a co-incident that he came to their house. She also said that she has no grief that she left that weaker one in the hospital.

He waited till she finished the call. And then he went to her for an explanation. She understood that it was out of the secret. So, she told him everything. She said that the day Ela was born, she actually had twin babies: one girl and one boy. But unfortunately, the boy was blind by born. So, she left that child and her mom took it to the orphanage. She just wanted her family not to be abnormal just with the boy. She dreamed of a happy family with no sickness and defect. But she didn't abandon him completely. She kept an eye on him from a distance.

Hearing this, Ela's dad could understand that he could not live a single more day with this monster. He packed her clothes and filed for divorce instantly. It was complicated for Ela to understand everything, but her dad explained her. Then she asked if he wanted to say that Alan was her brother and her mom abandoned him.

Though she lost her mom, she tried to act normal. In fact, everyone. But they were happy because finally the true blood relatives made a family and there was no judas. Alan was still dreaming. He could not believe that he had a family and a sister. Even he could not dream it.

However, the family started to live happily even without a mother. And that mother who left her weakest child on the day of birth was living on the streets like a beggar.
