A tsunami is a series of waves that form when a portion of the water, such as the ocean, is rapidly changing in size. Earthquakes, large water movement, above or below, volcanic eruptions and other types of underwater erosion, landslides, large comets and the testing of nuclear weapons in the ocean can produce tsunami. The tsunami impact is noticeable and severe, as occurred in Ao Nang, Krabi province, in Thailand in 2004.
