A bill was filed in the Senate that seeks to punish children for neglecting their aging or sick parents. But some ask, should there ever be a law about it?
In the "First Hurt" program, parenting and relationship consultant Maria Isabel Sison-Dionisio explained that aging parents find it difficult to care for their pacing.
This is contrary to the time when parents care for their children who are still in the "fast lane".
According to Dionisio, children will need patience if they include their parents in their home. It also depends on the relationship they had with their mother and father when they were young.
It is possible that some will not favor such a bill, especially if the parent has not had a good relationship with their children.
Watch the full discussion on the subject, and find out if it is advisable for older parents to just send them home for the aged.
