The Philippines, the official Republic of the Philippines, is an independent state and archipelago in Southeast Asia located in the western Pacific Ocean. It comprises 7,641 islands divided into three clusters of islands: Central, Visayas (also known as Visayas) and Mindanao. Its capital city is Manila and the oldest city is Quezon City; all part of Greater Manila.
It lies between 116 ° 40 'and 126 ° 34' S. longitude, and 4 ° 40 'and 21 ° 10' H. latitude is the Philippines. It is surrounded by the Philippine Sea to the east, the Central Sea to the west, and the Celebes Sea to the south. Indonesia is in the southern part of the country while Malaysia is in the southwest.
