The type of culvert used in this construction is box culvert (cutting the section while looking through the hole). The blinding for the culvert foundation is 50mm, the spacing between blinding and the reinforcements is 50mm (cover foundation), 16mm steel rods are used has the main bar [U-bars] while 12mm are used has the distribution bar. The first sets of reinforcement steel bars are arranged with the spacing of 150mm – 200mm between the main and distribution bar. Horse benches are placed and positioned on the reinforcements arranged earlier to space it from the next main and distribution bars coming on top of it, the horse benches gives 150mm spacing, the mixing ratio used for the construction of the box culvert was M25 according to design.
