It is sad that for a long time child-labour has been in vogue in the society. They are seen working at hotels and restaurants, factories and houses. For, they work more but are underpaid and mostly maltreated by their employers

Working Conditions of Child Labourers: Child labor presents a clear picture of the socio-economic condition of a large section of our population. In a large family, where there is hardly a square meal a day, the young child is compelled to go to work to earn just to put food on their table

Working under hazardous conditions they start living a life full with unhappiness and frustration. Which can be very saddening in the long and might even lead to loss of their lives. Child labour is rampant virtually everywhere most especially in India. According to article 32 of the Child labour Act it prohibits child labour and protection of young at work

Causes: Poverty, over-population, parental neglect and inferiority complex turn them into child labors.

Consequences:The engagement of child labor is a heinous social offence which ought to be looked into in the society for every Child's Right has to protected. Only a diseased society keeps up this evil practice. Children are born to live and bloom freely. Everyone should be able to express his /her potentials.' Children's are the leaders of tomorrow'

Child labor is a threat to our society. The evil effects of Child Labor are given below:

A child, when engaged in economic activities, is deprived of proper education.

Child labor negatively affects the health of the child. Engagement of children in factories and mines often leads to severe diseases. This malpractice needs urgent attention.

These children are not able to enjoy their childhood.
