Mixed emotions on this Christmas season Christmas eve was done but the Christmas spirit was not over yet. ***Thank you so much for these generous souls💜*** As the season approached my emotions were mixed. A bit happy to welcome another Christmas in my life but saddened by the fact that our dear father and a sweet sister inlaw was gone forever😥. Before the tragic event hits us, a lot of plans are set for this season, a happy get-together in the new year after a happy celebration at Christmas. We planned a joyous trip to the mountain and a picnic on the rivers with the whole family. I am accumulating my BCH to both platforms for this event. Diligently collecting my earnings and trying to make a profit in metamask to grow my money. But sadly everything turns upside down after the tragedy. I am now in my normal routine aside from being sad every time that I remember my father, especially to this season. I return to work and catch up with my crazy friends, at work I feel a bit free from my sad emotions. I laugh and work. But when I saw one of my social media platforms a post about our gone family members I can't control my tears to fall. The pain was still there, the longing for their presence hurt me more. Yesterday December 24 was our Thanksgiving party as my boss calls it, but for us, it's a Christmas party. We enjoy the games which she prepares for us. We laugh at each other as if the world was not in the pandemic stage anymore. We eat a lot and even take home some of the food. Everybody enjoys the simple gathering. Today was a rest day but for me a wash day. I have a lot of dirty clothes to wash but unluckily I know I am not able to finish this all today. I just started the spinning and it's already late in the afternoon. Before jotting down my article today I decided to call my sister in the province, we talked a lot of things. I ask her opinion about something between our two sisters in law. Every individual indeed has their differences though it seems none. If we got the chance to live with one another we have the chance to know more about that person. I compared the two wives of our brothers. The first wife was a bit quiet and has direct words without thinking sometimes if it is acceptable or not, throwing a joke as a way of saying what she means. We are friends during our college days and stayed in a boarding house together. I know her being a bully by words if you bend to what she says, luckily from being a silent me I learned how to defend and answer back. But after she got married to my brother she became aloof and seems to avoid me already. But we are good at least civil with each other. The other wife was a bit of a speaker, I'm fun of her when we are together. I admit I like her too. She freely tells me what's bothering her mind towards our other siblings, she explains everything. I can see that she can handle a good family as a mother, and hopefully, I'm not wrong with my perception of her. I need to know those traits of them not to judge the way they handle their own families but to place myself in the middle to learn how to blend with those two without them feeling that one of them is more plausible than the other. Although wrong traits should be corrected nicely. This sense of mixed emotions sank in me now. This is my father's sense of responsibility. To be the middle man of his sons and daughters misunderstanding to settle things rightfully. He doesn't want his children to fight with each other, even to the extent that he is blamed for siding the other. I feel him even before, every time that the two had misunderstandings he suffered the most. He just stays quiet, absorbing all the blame to stop and cut the issue to be more on fire. That is why I want him to stay with us for a break but sadly he declines my proposal. I know he wants to but bothers about leaving the other family. I envy them for they have the chance to stay with him until his last breath. I am happy and sad knowing that my beloved father was now resting peacefully, no more hardship and pain although his passing still breaks my heart.💔 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚 How are you this holiday season?
