FUNKE DISSAPOINTED ME. Read till the end Funke was the prettiest girl in my class while in primary two. She was. loved by everyone including teachers and students alike. Everyone wanted to be her friend and I wasn't an exception. I used to pray for the day she would borrow sharpener from me so that I could have the opportunity to talk to her but she never borrowed anything from me because she had lots of whatever she wanted. One day, the names of noisemakers was written by the assistant class monitor who was a girl and didn't like her as the rest of us, so she wrote her name. My name was in it too. When it was time for us to be flogged, the teacher said he was giving us three strokes each. Even though I had a phobia for _pankere_, I decided to do fineboy because I didn't want Funke to see me cry. After my three lashes, I went to my seat. It was from there I saw my pretty Funke shivering out of fear. She was already crying even though it wasn't her turn to be flogged. My heart melted for her. Finally, her turn came. As the teacher was about to cane her, I stood up from my seat and shouted, _"Uncle I will collect the cane for her!" The whole class became quiet. Everyone's mouth was opened. The teacher turned to me and asked, _"what did you say?"_ I replied again, _"I want to collect the cane for her." I saw the look on Funke's face. She was surprised. I felt like a savior and wanted to use this moment to show her that I can go any length to get her attention. I was ready to do so with my little bum bum. "Come outside!",_ he commanded me, as he asked her to go back to her seat. The tempo of my heartbeat increased. Everyone's gaze was fixed on me and the teacher. As I got to where he was, he muttered something like _"stupid boy, I will show you today"_ and grabbed me by the front part of my shorts thereby making my bum bum very visible and smooth and even revealing the lines of the panties I wore. I knew I was in trouble because he didn't hold anybody's shorts this way. I was still feeling the pain from the one I received for myself and now I was about to collect for her. I didn't bother, at least, my Funke will be my friend after now and she will borrow my cleaner and sharpener henceforth. The first stroke landed on me and it felt like a cutlass was used to divide my bum bum! I screamed with pain as I tried to escape from the teacher's grip but he was way bigger than I so I couldn't escape. The second stroke came, fiam! This time around, I knew I was going to die in this man's hand. The whole class felt for me. I tried to look at Funke's face and that was when I saw her laughing at me. My heart broke like the screen of a plasma TV, See the person I'm suffering for laughing at me when others were pitying me. The third one came gbam! and landed on the same place that the other ones landed! I thought that was all since it was three strokes each, but the teacher didn't let me go. I ended up receiving six hefty strokes for Fuuunnkee! As he let me go, I staggered and fell down. It was as if I was paralyzed. Somehow, I managed to get to my seat. Everyone was telling me sorry and it made me cry the more. I expected my Funke to be the first person to come and tell me sorry but she never came. After closing hours, I was going to meet her and talk to her when I saw her talking to another boy from my class. "Funke, how are you?" I asked her. She looked at me and burst into a loud laughter with the other boy. I began to cry again. I felt betrayed! That day, I concluded that she was a witch because no normal person would do what she did to me. I was left with many questions. How could she not sympathise with me after all I did? Not even a small accolade. I was devastated! Today's lesson is this: *There are many lessons one can learn from this write up, but I would like to bring your attention to the sacrifice Jesus did on behalf of us which many of us are still reluctant to accept. The way you feel when you read about Funke's attitude is the same way heaven feels at our ungratefulness.* REPENT! The following day at school, her name was written again as a noisemaker but mine wasn't written because I had not even recovered from the strokes of the previous day, so I didn't have the power to make noise. As it got to her turn to be flogged, the teacher paused and said, _"where is that your husband that collected cane for you yesterday?" As she pointed to me, I wanted to invoke the gods of my forefathers on her but didn't know how to reach them so I just gave her that Patience ozokwo kind of evil eyes until the teacher then asked me, _"are you not collecting for her today?" As I shook my head to say no, tears went down my small cheeks when I remembered the previous day, but that didn't block my view from seeing Funke cry as the Uncle unleashed six sweet strokes on her buttocks and I clapped for him from where I was seated! There is always a second time. Christ came first time to save us but the second time will be for judgement. *On the day of judgement, there is no mercy, no such thing as I will go to hell on your behalf.* IT IS NOT LATE TO MAKE JESUS YOUR FRIEND; AND YOU CAN DO THAT NOW. #You may pass it on, someone, somewhere may need this too. Stay great as you prepare for his second coming *somebody might need this as a means of social media evangelism* Thanks and remain bless in Christ.

The Best Time to Break Off a Relationship When is it best to break off a relationship? As soon as you know it’s not going to work out. You need to listen to your heart, your thoughts, and the Lord’s guidance. You need to trust yourself. Parts of the relationship may be positive, but are these strong enough to carry the rest of it? I’ve known some who know after the initial phone conversation, initial meeting, three months, or three years later. Once you know, then the time you wait is wasted since it delays your recovery, and thus your development of a new relationship. You will waver back and forth and experience confusion. That’s normal. There may be a relationship in which none of that occurs, and you know absolutely that this one is over and out! That, too, can be normal. Watch out for the immobilizing statements you may make that will keep you trapped. They include: “I just hate hurting another person.” “What will everyone think? “What if they’re really angry with me? I can’t handle that.” “I don’t know what to say or how to do it.” “It’s just too difficult.” Every time you make such a statement, you begin to believe it even more, and it becomes more difficult to take that necessary step. You will discover at last that you were doing yourself more harm than good. It is better to hurt that person once than to be hurt forever. So once you discover that it isn't going to work no matter what, just get up and take that bold step immediately.

Definitions of a Loving relationship Our society and the media have given us a false portrayal of love. Scripture gives us a valid portrayal. As you continue to consider the love that is necessary for a marriage, reflect on these thoughts given by people who were asked to give their definition of a loving relationship: “A loving relationship is a choice partnership. Loving someone in which even imperfection is seen as possibility and, therefore, a thing of beauty; where discovery, struggle, and acceptance are the basis of continued growth and wonderment.” “A loving relationship is one in which individuals trust each other enough to become vulnerable, secure that the other person won’t take advantage. It neither exploits nor takes the other for granted. It involves much communication, much sharing, and much tenderness.” “A loving relationship is one in which one can be open and honest with another without the fear of being judged. It’s being secure in the knowledge that you are each other’s best friend and no matter what happens you will stand by one another.” “A loving relationship is one which offers comfort in the silent presence of another with whomyou know, through words or body language, you share mutual trust, honesty, admiration, devotion, and that special thrill of happiness simply being together.” “A loving relationship is an undemanding exchange of affection and concern, rooted in total honesty and continuing communication without exploitation.” “A loving relationship is one in which the loved one is free to be himself—to laugh with me, but never at me; to cry with me, but never because of me; to love life, to love himself, to love being loved. Such a relationship is based upon freedomand can never grow in a jealous heart.” “A loving relationship is one in which each one sees the beloved not as an extension of self but as a unique, forever becoming, beautiful individual—a situation in which the persons can bring their own special I to each other, a blending of selves without the fear of loss of self.”

A Marriage Definition There are so many other elements that could be mentioned about making a marriage work. Let me sumit up with a definition of marriage that I’ve developed over the years. It states what a marriage is, what it can be, and what it takes for it to be all you want it to be: “A Christian marriage is a total commitment of two people to the person of Jesus Christ and to one another. It is a commitment in which there is no holding back of anything. Marriage is a pledge of mutual fidelity in all areas. It is a partnership of mutualsubordination and servanthood.” A Christian marriage is similar to a solvent, a freeing up of the man and woman to be themselves and become all that God intends for themto become. Marriage is a refining process God will use to develop us into the men or women He wants us to become. Is marriage stillsomething you want? If so, it may take more than you realize. Keep this last thought in mind: True success is never an easy achievement. Happy and fulfilling marriages are products of extreme effort. They are desired, sought after, fought for, and planned. They never just happen. Couples frequently complain to me how theirmarriage just fell apart. All of a sudden they just fell out of love…just lost interest in a husband…just fell in love with another person or career. If experience has taught me anything, it is this: Nothing just happens…whether good or bad. Healthy marriages follow a road…a road that is planned. You do not have to plan to fail. That can be accomplished without planning…and usually is. But you DO have to plan to succeed.

Setting financial goals Based on a sound understanding of your financial situation, you may be able to identify your short-, medium- and long-term financial goals. This will help you review your budget, determine your investment time frame and work out a strategy for deciding on the appropriate investments. With measurable and clearly defined goals, it will be easier to monitor the progress of your financial growth. When setting financial goals, consider the following; 1.Know what you are planning for. Don't just wake up without definition of the picture you want. 2. Make a list of all your needs and apportion goals appropriately. 3. Set your day-to-day needs. This is the monomer of the overall financial goal polymer. 4.Set Realistic Goals and prioritise. For instance, Payment of high interest rate debtor loan should come first, before payment of other money you borrowed without interest. 5. Markout the cost of each goal and how much time it will take you to save or invest to get it. For instance, If my goal is to buy a FordCaravan worth 1.4m NGN and I can save 50k thousand monthly for it, it will take me 28months (2years 4months) to achieve that goal. That Time space is Called Investment Time Horizon 6. Be Realistic. Then review this goals and assess your risk tolerance level, you may find it necessary or worthwhile adjusting your goals... I will love to addhere, as part of your goals, start saving earlier enough... You'll thank God later

Growth can't be underemphasized In my few years of having to see the Sun rise daily, I have discovered on truth: Everything in life occurs in stages and the length of each stage varies per person You are once a little lad held to breast By mum, so was I! You were also a toddling infant, so was I! And one day, someone held you by your hands to make your first step, someone also did that to me! Soon enough, you were in School learning how to read the ABCs! And Now this is you, Grown and hefty! In all of these changes, One Thing was constant, Growth! You can repeat it again: GROWTH So the things You want and are Bordering you will surely come! The Heights you eye, You will surely attain! Dear! Friend! Don't be too harsh on yourself! Just don't forget to GROW daily as much as it is within your ability. I would have said I love You, but that would be a huge understatement. See you at the top

K@Kaylee

Don't rush or Skip a step in the process *Success is not necessary Domiciled in what is done but who is and how its done* You may be confused, let me explain with this: Have you ever seen one person succeed in different, almost anything? Also, have you ever seen One person fail in different, almost anything? I know in the later case, you may rush to conclude he is disfavoured or cursed or its not just his thing! But the truth is: *Anybody can succeed in anything* and *anybody can fail in anything* This is because of the Person involved in What is done, and not Necessarily what is Done! For Instance eh: If you ever failed exams in school, you failed not because the exams was too hard. Yes! The exams was too hard because you didn't prepare enough for it! It was hard, but people still passed anyways, you see? Also, if you failed in any business, it was because of you, that's why others succeeded in the business too. If you failed in your journey with God, you caused it not God. People are still touching God, entering realms and navigating through the possibilities domiciled in Him. *And if you refused to take responsibility of the fact that your success in anything depends on you, you will still fail again* I'm not sorry for saying this! Now in Taking Responsibly: First, Responsibility to Succeed is Mental before it becomes translated to your Organism. You have to make up your mind, configure your heart and set your inclination to breakthrough. There's no miracle in the pathway of Success. The Miracle is your Choice to be responsible! You may argue this eh: but the truth is the truth! And you may wonder What then is the place of God in success? God simply brings you to the place of Taking Responsibility: "choose ye this day" God does not make you succeed, he simply sets the stage awaiting your responsibility: *IF YOU REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, YOU WILL FAIL EVEN WITH THE HELP OF GOD* God does not Drag Men into Success, He Helps them into It! By helping, it implies that you're doing something that need assistance! And this thing is Your Responsibility to Succeed (in this case). So before you ask God for help, you should be on something. But you can ask him to help you accept responsibility anyways. Now after Taking Mental Responsibility: The processes of translating the mental into Organic may he somewhat looking difficult and takes not a day! But I'm set to help breaks it down here: 👉 Be Goal Oriented and Set your Goals: The Ultimate Goal, The Composite Goal, and The Particulate Goal. Goals give you direction, and bearing! 👉Be Process-Oriented not necessary Result Oriented. Let me shine a little light on this: You and I know that the process to Spiritual Results is Constant Praying and Scriptural Study, you're process-oriented If you do not give up praying or studying when the road looks clumsy. If you into money making, keep marketing even when none is buying. It is your ability to stick to the process that determines your how successful you become. Processes make men, not Results. 👉Be Knowledge-Oriented and head for Mastery. You are how much you know. Your Increase in Knowledge and its application is Your Increase in Progress. Go for and master what you're hunting for. You wouldn't want to be a professor with a first school leaving Certificate. Will you? 👉Be Single-Eyed Yes, Take off the other eye. You don't need it. All you need is one eye that sees one thing than two eyes that sees tonnes of thing.... So be Single-minded and Go after this one thing, sticking to the process until results come. You can't be doing all things at the same time. 👉Be Stepwise-focused. Never outrun the steps. Take it one step at a time. You may not know how much you have Progressed. Never rush that process or Skip a step.

My Saturday I woke up today feeling so happy. My mood was so bright probably because the weather was bright as well. I said my prayers and did a little exercise. The only morning chores I had to do was to sweep and make breakfast, which I did without wasting time. I took rice for breakfast. When I was done, mom told us to prepare for the farm, that we'll be harvesting cassava today. Well, it wasn't a big deal for me because I've been doing that since I grew up. It wasn't long after that when we left for the farm. When we got to the farm, the sun was so hot and I was sweating. But we had to do that which we went there for. We spent hours there because we took series of breaks due to the hot sun. From time to time, I'd go rest under a tree. At last, we harvested enough and we were set to leave. My brother used wheel barrow to pack them and I carried a little on my head. When we got to the house, I had my bath and took a chilled drink to calm my nerves. I was really tired. The distance from the farm to our house is far. But in all, the mission was accomplished. Later on, I ate okra soup and took a long nap. That's how my day was. Thank you for having me.

It's not all about taking the first step Whoever asked you to take the first step told you half truth: a lie! I may have probably been the one! But Now, I'm asking you not to! Halt that Decision, whatever it is! Undoubtedly, The first step is the Principal Step to get successful in whatever you intend to do. Inability to take the first Step has also stopped millions for birthing their dreams. This truth we know! If you had taken the first step to bring to bare all the ideas in your mind, you would had enormous influence by now; Don't Take the First Step Again if: *You're not ready to learn along the way. Learning, Unlearning, and Relearning along the Way is more Important than Starting the Journey. So Don't Start if you're not ready! *You will not be patient with the process. If you're in a rush to blow! This is the Best time to Quit! So Quit Now! A hurrying man heads to failure. *You will not Develop the Idea. Mark Zuckerberg once said that ideas are gotten not fully formed. What gives Voice to Your idea is How developed you have given it the privilege to be! *You are not ready to die for what you want to start! The choice to die for the course is paramount to your continuity in the course years from now. *You are Afraid of what your family and friends, well wishers and acquaintances will say or do! Give up! Or You're afraid of offending them. Give up! Its Wiser to give up if this is You! But if this is not You! AWAKE UP BOLDLY AND TAKE THE FIRST STEP LET THE SKIES BE YOUR STEPPING STONE. Happy Weekend!

K@Kaylee

Giving up is not an option, say no to suicide There are lots of persons who have given up on Living. I have, myself, on several occasions, so its not strange! You look surprised! Isaac, also has thoughts of not living too? But that's the Obvious reality! Growing up to know that your parents didn't planned your pregnancy and wanted an abortion because they already had a lot of children is depressing. Loosing the Bread Winner of the family and a life under the cruelty of severe hunger pangs from 2months old, I don't think is worth living! I was lied to that "Your Dad Went to Lagos to fend for a living and will be back soon to provide". My nursery schoolmates kept arguing that their parents insisted my dad is a dead dude. How do I marry this two truths about him whom I expect to see as my Dad: A dead dude or a Lagos Hustler? Sincerely, my childhood was as terrible as my childhood look. Nothing Desirable, a ball on pin head and an egg on stick body. I was not an ordinary child! Matchsticks legs and fishbone arms. The laughing stock of my school. They wondered if I really spent 9months in the womb like they did. Worst of it, discussions of how their daddy did this and that hurts more than a million bullets shot into my head at once. I took 31st of 35th in my first term in school. Amazing Result. Flood of Emotional Assaults at School and home drowned me. I'm not even fine, I know Nothing, I have one thing left: To Die! Thoughts of dead became my only companion, it followed me wherever I go! I lived in it for years, wanting to take my life several times Until One Day I came across something: *Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee...* This was shocking: someone actually cares to find out about me. He even formed me! Gradually I began to take solace in this unknown friend. It is a difficult trusting the unseen. I had a Friend now who knows me better. I knew it because things started changing. My Grades changed: I found myself studying more because I had an Unseen Father who buys me stuffs when I do well and encourages when done poorly. I made first after 3terms. And the record continues. I didn't bother about my look again. Remember he said He formed me. I knew he loved me the way he formed me. I had to love myself as he does. If you make others the standard for your life, life will tire you soon. ...but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. 2Cor. 10:12 The Wisdom that my life has a different bearing from others gave me a freedom that I couldn't find anywhere else. You're the best thing made by God: you're not seeing it because you have not have healed from peer comparison. Peer Comparison will blind you from self development. It will drain you emotionally and put a knife to your neck to kill. You're not me, I am not you! We have different backgrounds, different stories, different lives, different journeys, different purposes, different pathways to progress and different classes. If you loose hold of this, you'll commit suicide soon, very soon. Invest in yourself: Read new books: Attend courses: Reward yourself if you attain a fit. A bottle of coke isn't too much.: Buy yourself something New: Study God's Word Daily: Spend 2-3hrs praying in The Spirit Daily: Invest your money in a profiting business: Find a passion and pursue it with all your life: Set Smart Goals and pursue them: You have better things than sit and do comparison. Lastly Remember this: *...and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee... Heb. 13:5* *SUICIDE ISN'T AN OPTION IF NOT FOR ANY THING, FOR GOD'S LOVE* YOUR WEEKEND WILL BE A BEAUTIFUL ONE!

K@Kaylee

Weekend motivation You may be full of tonnes of weaknesses weighing you down each day. You have struggled and you're getting tired of the struggle. In the midst of these weaknesses is one strength, develop it, work on it, refine it! This is what will bring the World to your toes: *One Strength Developed rather than a million struggles in weaknesses* Be Intentional! Happy weekend!

Twenty four (24) hours is not enough for me At first, I used to think I don't have time and 24hrs wasnt enough for me until I went into business. Look! You will never be this free again in your whole life. Let me explain; a baby sleeps for over 20hrs a day. But as he grows, he is gradually being involved with lots of things: toddling walking, playing, then crèche, nursery school, reading and get keeps getting busier and his sleep time is cut down. So are you. You will never be this free in your life again! Except if you don't want to grow and expand in your choose sphere of Influence! Lots of things are and will continue to impact on your life, Competing for this same 24hrs of yours! Learning, family, social media, Business etc. You are yet to be busy, Trust me on this! I discovered this when I delved into business. Balancing Business, Studies and Ministry isn't child's play! But God helped me, I discovered a simple hack when I underwent an exercise. At the end of the Exercise I knew 24hrs was too much for me, I have to do more things! This shocking Discovery came by listing everything I do in a day, sum them up and Behold, looking at the way my time went, I knew that I had enough time, I was just putting this time in less necessary things. I had to learn Not Time Management but Priority Management. Before we proceed, Do this Exercise: *Sum up Everything you do in your daily 24hrs eg. Lectures 5hrs daily, sleep 5hrs, Chatting, etc. This LIST 1.0 is with time attachment, raw data of how you spend your time daily. Be sincere to yourself while doing this: if you lie here! Its finished! Go on your normal day, and document at the end of your day. Do this for a week. *Make a list of Everything you do daily. The time you're replying chats, creating content, reading etc, I mean everything at the end of the one week. This LIST 2.0 is without time attachment, a summary of your several daily LIST 1.0 *Make a List of what you consider important from the LIST 2.0 Above. What do you think it's worth your time in the LIST 2.0 makes up LIST 3.0 *Make a List of what you consider Unimportant from the LIST 2.0 above. What do you should be strikes Out from your LIST 2.0 that has been taking your time, they form your LIST 4.0 *Calculate The Percentage Time given to Items in LIST 3.0 and 4.0 Using your LIST 1.0 time attachment. *Create Another LIST 5.0 containing things you are supposed to be Doing but you're not Doing. This are things you expected to be in your LIST 1.0 and 2.0 *Draw up a Timetable allotment for Items in your Important LIST 3.0 and 5.0 *Do Same for LIST 4.0 if you want to add some. *Do Your Time Shunting or Rescheduling. *Trash other things. I hope this EXERCISE Helps You....

A THOUGHT ON FRIDAY - Ten(10) Time management hacks I understand that it is frustrating or even depressing when you keep setting goals, you keep writing your to-do list and you're not able to achieve them because of the lack of time management. You always beat yourself up saying: I don't have time, I dont manage my time well and you have been looking for solution to your lack of time management. This is why I want to address this in today's Thought on Friday. I understand how you feel when there are lots of things to be done but time is not enough for them. But this is the truth: we all have all have 24hrs, not 25, not 26. What makes you different from those who utilize their time is in the skill called time management. If you don't have the skill of time management, you will struggle to manage your time well. *Now What is Time Management?:* Time management is defined according to Wikipedia as the process of planning and exercising conscious control of time spent daily on specific activities especially to increase Efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. When you check every of those words; *process of planning:* it is a process, not an automation! Cannot be learn inna day, its a skill you develop! You're not going to start managing your time all of a sudden after reading this; its a process! *Of Planning:* you must have the planning stage where you set out your priorities and appropriate time to them. *Exercising Conscious Control:* it helps you to control the time you spend daily on specific activities. What do you want to achieve today? What do you want to achieve tomorrow? What do you want to achieve this week, this month or this year? You must know your goal, Number 1! The Second aspect is that you must organise your goals according to their worth or value and priorities. All of Your goals are not at the same level of priorities. For instance you want to achieve a Hundred thousand Naira financial goal, every month! And you want to achieve Reading five books every month. The Priorities are different! When you're organising the goals to achieving them, you're going to arrange them according to their priorities not according to the way you feel. Having disorganised goals will make you under utilize your time. When you have goals that are disorganised, you will get lesser results. One of the ways of organising your goals is by *Documenting Your Goals* Have a book, a dairy or something that you apportion to or dedicated to setting your goals and writing them down. Don't Just let them be in your head! Take them from your head and Document in a book! Arrange them according to priority, and according to their value. Documented according to their Urgency. Which is most pressing? Most urgent? Which matters to me most now? Today? This week? What's your priority this month? A Major Mistake most people make is Wanting to achieve everything today! You cannot achieve everything in one day! What are those things that if you don't do them today, there are going to be issues and problems? Which of them have higher chances of causing bigger affectations and disasters if not done? Just learn to set priorities.

The simple truth... Not every men know their intentions If he calls you everyday and talks to you for hours. If he sends text messages every morning telling you how amazing you are. If he buys gifts for you and sends airtime at the beginning of every month. If he draws you and uses your picture as his wallpaper...Then it is safe to assume... NOTHING Ladies, listen to me. Stop assuming things. This is not popular opinion but this will really help you. Contrary to what many people think or say, men know what they want. They are not babies. If his intentions are not well communicated to you, stop making assumptions. Some of you all already have kids (in your minds) with men who said Hi just the other day. Many of us are imagining our futures with men who haven't communicated such to us. Stop playing with your heart..... If he wants to date you, let him TELL YOU. If he wants to marry you, let him TELL YOU. if he just likes you but isn't sure what to do about it, let him be honest with you. Thank him for his honesty and tell him to come back when he is certain. I don't know about you, but I didn't come to this life to play games. I cannot understand how we don't want to be intentional about our lives, how we want to be the victims every freaking time. We cry about having to always deal with the rubbish thrown at us, while being the ones creating the path for all these 'rubbishes' to come our way. Take responsibility for your heart. Guard that heart baby. Stop playing victim. Stop claiming "he broke my heart" when he never told you he wanted to be with you; when all you did was assume that because he was nice to you, he wants to be with you. We actually have the well cultured, beautiful men out here. They will be nice to you. They won't come on social media to thrash talk women. They will do all the good things. Not because they want anything but because they have been trained to respect women. And of course, there are the unfortunate ones too...who don't want commitment but want you to think they do. The ones that want hit and run. The ones who are deliberately out to deceive you into thinking they really want something real. How do you tell the difference? I don't know my sister, I don't know... So be discerning but guard your heart too, at all times. Stop making assumptions. No matter how good it looks, if this boy doesn't voice his intentions, there are no intentions. Period. Train yourself that way. Always remember, you were bought with a price, bigger than you, more than anything you can ever imagine. You are too priceless to be the victim..

How to prepare a delicious moi-moi with Beans First, soak your beans in water, preferably overnight for it to soften. Then the following morning, you filter the water out and then take it to a place where it will be grinded. It is better if you have a blender at home where you do it yourself. Set your blender in a manner that there will be no particles. Turn the blended beans in a bowl and add water. Stir it until it is properly mixed. The quantity of water you add is dependent on the quantity of beans so that water would not be too much. Put your ingredients (pepper, salt, little vegetable oil, crayfish, onion, seasoning cubes and tomato if you want). All these should be in moderate quantity. When that is done, scoop it into your plastics or disposable plates and put it in the pot. There should be water in the pot before you put them to avoid the water entering your plate. When that is done, pot your already seasoned fish and boiled eggs in each plate. Note, You can cook with or without these things. Put your pot on fire and cook till it's done. Some people do this with oven and microwave. But I prefer cooking it at once. I hope you'd try and enjoy.

The word - The simple truth John 10:10 says, the devil come not but to kill, steal and destroy. But I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly The Bible in this scripture compares the devil to a thief, which we know on a normal day, does not visit a house except to kill and steal. The devil is battling every day to steal from us; our salvation, our freedom, the benefits we gain from Christ and every other good things we enjoy from being a Christian. Good enough, Christ came to save us, to give us life. Not just ordinary life but eternal life. And guess what, he gives us that life in abundance. Wow.. what manner of love. His love is supreme, it is endless. Glory be to God. Our prayer today is that we may continue to live in him and have the everlasting life he's given us. Amen!

My Friday Dear Diarists, Today was a good day for me. Although it was filled with activities, I didn't mind because it was food, food, food all along. After waking up, I didn't have much to do in the morning, so I decided to make use of that opportunity to make some food. First, I prepared zobo drink. This is not too difficult. I had my zobo leaves ready so I just washed them, put it in a pot, add water and boiled. I added some blended ginger and garlic. When I took it down, I added my pineapple flavor and I left it to cool off. Then put them in plastics and stored in the freezer. After that I boiled rice. I have not eaten stew rice in a while. Since my day was dedicated to food, I made rice too. I also made stew to be stored in the freezer as well. Bad enough, there was nobody to take pictures as I was doing those things, I only got to snap when I was done. But I'm glad I did those things. When I was through with making stew, I started selecting beans. I also wanted to make Beans porridge but my only prayer was that there should be no power seizure. Anyway, I wasn't too scared because all the things I made were in small quantities. So I proceeded with my beans porridge. Funny enough, I told myself I wasn't gonna cook any other thing after that. Because of this, I didn't prepare the orange juice that I wanted to. juice, and again, I was tired. I had to leave it for another day. After all set and done, I took a cold shower, enjoyed my meal and took a nap. Thank you for stopping by.

How to use your time wisely as a student Sometimes, it's not all about procrastination, it's not even about being organized. Time can be one of your biggest enemies in college. But it could also be of help to you if you use it wisely. Here are some tips that could enable you use your time well. Tackle harder Tasks first. Once you know that there are harder Tasks waiting for you, it is advised that you tackle them first so as to have enough time for them. Once you're done with them, you'll feel a great relief knowing that what's waiting is just a piece of cake. Learn to say no. I have a personal story concerning saying no which I might not be able to share now. But the good thing is that, once I say no, you can never persuade me to say yes. This has really been helpful. Sometimes, I find myself in between reading for exams and partying with friends. But the wisest decision to make in such time is that, after exams, I'll have all the time in the world to party. After lectures, fine time to go over it. This one has been the best thing that has happened to me as a student, procrastination is bad, sometimes not procrastination, you'd just want to rest. But after resting, open your book and go through what was being taught for the day, trust me, it takes a shorter time to understand than when you leave it for days or even weeks. Take a break and clear your head. Sometimes, greater workload makes it difficult to grab whatever you're doing. It is advised that after each task, you cool off by maybe taking a nap, watching some TV or even chatting with friends in order to prepare yourself for the next task. Select your priorities. There are so many things that we would want to do, but not all are important for that particular time. For instance, you have a test tomorrow and you have to cook, read, watch football, do some laundry, clean up, etc. You can cook first and then read, those are the most important things for that moment. Working hard to play hard is a good balance. Always strike a balance between work and play. All work without play makes Jack a dull boy and vice versa. I hope this is helpful. It has helped me through all these years. Thanks for stopping by!

Just how life is RAISING GOD CONSCIOUSNESS Getting close to God and feeling him within arm reach involves a prayerful life. Prayer is communication to God just like communication with man. It connects us to God. When done regularly and often, prayer can raise awareness of God's presence. It brings the feeling of literally walking with God. Some people believe they have their angels following them around. They may not be wrong. But I choose to believe in that aura of the presence of God. That's my favourite flavour of God's protection, the armour I go around with. Do you know, some people might want to control their angels so he can do whatever they want. But God consciousness doesn't permit this. The higher your God consciousness, the easier it is to build your moral life. Because you know he is watching. You receive a blessing for this in form of comfort because you know that he is with you while you go through challenges. God will let you face difficult times not because he can't help you but because he wants you grow. He is always waiting to take over from you when you have reached the limit of your strength. Do not be hopeless, he is there with you. But don't be a lazy child who wants his father do everything for him. Work hard and harder still, until you realize a break is necessary, then leave the rest to him Happily because you know he cares for you.

My Today 16/7/20 Good evening all. Today, due to the absence of electricity in our area for some days now, I decided to get a rechargeable lantern and a Bluetooth speaker to enable us find our way around at night and also kill the boredom. With my sister's assistance, I was able to get a WS- 1831 Bluetooth speaker with fm radio and a LONTOR Rechargeable lamp at Raylight Ventures, located at no. 86, Aka Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. I didn't take the pictures of them because it was about to rain and I just had to rush home. The Bluetooth speaker goes for 7000 Naira and the lamp goes for 3500 naira. I'm not scared that night is fast approaching because I'm fully prepared for it

Men and women's weakness SECRET OF A WOMAN. At one time, a newly married young man was shouting at his 20 years old wife and his father called him aside and said to him, 'We only shout at people our shouts or threats can frighten. But not to your wife. The way you are shouting, you are giving away your power to your wife. Your threats make her stronger. Most men believe that when a woman is threatened, she gets subdued, but women are not changed with fear. A woman may stay quiet when a man is threatening and shouting at her but she is not sitting down inside her. She is evaluating the man's weakness and how to subdue him rather. Cast your mind back to those days men used to beat their wives flippantly at slightest provocations, today most of those men are older and they suffering consequences Those women their husband were beating years back are the ones enjoying the marriage with their children today, the mothers have their children's sympathy, the men are at the receiving end. Let it become clear to men that the way into a woman's heart is not to try to threaten and subdue her. God spoke to men and said, 'Husbands, love your wife'. Do you need an elaborate explanation of this scripture? Love makes women weak. When you truly love a woman and show it, she will submit to you without qualms. But when a woman has sensed that she is just like your toy, you just want to use her or you are domineering and controlling, the spirit of rebellion takes over her. She might not physically stand on your way but she is plotting coup against you and one day, you will sit and watch her and her children force you to follow their rules or die quicker. Almost all the great and fierce kings you know died before their wives. They lived all through their lives threatening their fellow men and wives. They were able to kill most of their strong fellow men but all the women they threatened stayed alive. Women know how to survive against men. The 'lion' in men does not scare women or get them to submit to you, it is love that conquers a woman, not force or threats. This might subdue fellow men, but not your wife. Women naturally know how to survive pains. They can walk to the fearful serpent and make their demands. They have resilient spirit. There are things women fear but not the lion inside men. They can submit and respect their men so foolishly that you imagine that there is no gut inside them. They have guts men don't have, love your woman into submission. Men don't have compatible or cordial relationship with women by showing the lion inside them. God knew women before us and begged that we show love than threats. He gave men the formula, recipe for a blissful, joyous and fulfilled homes, LOVE YOUR WIFE! This formula of loving your wife will help you win her. When a woman is loved, you break all her guts and she stays in your hands. A woman can do anything to stay with a man who is honestly in love with Her. Talk gently to your wife, love her, pet her, don't shout at her, and you will win her and make your points! Do not arrogantly display your weakness as a man by shouting. *THANKS

My Day. 13/07/20 It's been raining here since morning and the only thing I did from morning till the early hours of the afternoon was to watch a movie. I mean I stayed indoors throughout and then later I cooked. One of the reasons I hate rainy season is that it can scatter your entire plan for the day and you're left with no other option. I thought of going to different places today but I was just stuck at home. But be it as it may, I cannot kill my self. We move
