Who's Jesus Christ?
And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. Revelation5:4 -5
A lion is the king of the jungle. This is because, in the jungle, the strongest becomes the king and it's only the lion that prevails over every other members occupying the fierce habitat. Jesus Christ is symbolically called the LION because He has prevailed! Hallelujah!
Looking at the location of His symbolic domain, the tribe of Judah was one of the smallest and the unique thing about them was that they were sovereign. They were always attacked because they were viewed as vulnerable, weak and unprotected by the larger nation of Israel.
Jesus Christ is the Lion King to the vulnerable, unprotected, and weak. He's the voice of the homeless, fatherless, condemned or unjustified. He came to deliver the hopeless and make them victorious. Are you thinking about the way out because nobody is on your side? Cry no more, for you have Jesus, who is worthy to reach out to the depth of all difficulties, for He has prevailed.
Hallelujah! He has prevailed over sin, nailing it to His cross. He has prevailed over Satan, making a public show and triumphing over him. He has prevailed over sickness, healing all manner of infirmities by His strips. He has prevailed over poverty, for by His poverty we are made rich. He has prevailed over joblessness, generational curses, unholy habits, depression, delays, struggling, failure and every spiritual battles.
He's able to open the book of our lives, read through it and effect changes. Since Jesus is the only one that qualified to open our secrets,we are more than secured. Arise, weep no more, for THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH has prevailed. He's the root of David because He's both a King and a Priest. Jesus is fully in charge!
Let's pray together. Heavenly Father thank you for prevailing over our lives through Christ. We surrender all our issues to you, please fix us and make us whole, in Jesus name. Amen. Always remember, Christ has prevailed.
