I understand that it is frustrating or even depressing when you keep setting goals, you keep writing your to-do list and you're not able to achieve them because of the lack of time management.
You always beat yourself up saying: I don't have time, I dont manage my time well and you have been looking for solution to your lack of time management.
This is why I want to address this in today's Thought on Friday.
I understand how you feel when there are lots of things to be done but time is not enough for them.
But this is the truth: we all have all have 24hrs, not 25, not 26.
What makes you different from those who utilize their time is in the skill called time management.
If you don't have the skill of time management, you will struggle to manage your time well.
*Now What is Time Management?:*
Time management is defined according to Wikipedia as the process of planning and exercising conscious control of time spent daily on specific activities especially to increase Efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
When you check every of those words;
*process of planning:* it is a process, not an automation! Cannot be learn inna day, its a skill you develop!
The 10 time Management hacks are skill sets and habits you're going to develop.
Not a sudden occurrence!
You're not going to start managing your time all of a sudden after reading this; its a process!
*Of Planning:* you must have the planning stage where you set out your priorities and appropriate time to them.
*Exercising Conscious Control:* it helps you to control the time you spend daily on specific activities.
It also helps you increase your effectiveness, efficiency and productivity daily.
This is the reason why you need need the time Management Hacks.
*Efficiency:* The extent to which time is well used for the intended task.
You have a particular task you want to accomplish in a particular number of hours, days, weeks, months or years and you are struggling to achieve it.
You lack time Management Efficiency!
*Productivity:* yielding good or useful results.
You always set goals but not achieving them, you need time management!
There may be other things you affecting your goal setting but one of the major thing you need is time management.

One of the problems many people have is they set their task and goals and want to achieve them all at the same time.

Set your Tasks and divide your time to specific activities.
If you don't apportion time to specific activities, you will always have issues with accomplishing your goals.

*KNOW YOUR GOALS AND ORGANISE THEM BY THEIR WORTH AND PRIORITIES*
Ensure that you already have a goal so that you don't approach your daily, weekly, monthly and yearly living without a goal!
What do you want to achieve today?
What do you want to achieve tomorrow?
What do you want to achieve this week, this month or this year?
You must know your goal, Number 1!
The Second aspect is that you must organise your goals according to their worth or value and priorities.
All of Your goals are not at the same level of priorities.
For instance you want to achieve a Hundred thousand Naira financial goal, every month!
And you want to achieve Reading five books every month.
The Priorities are different!
When you're organising the goals to achieving them, you're going to arrange them according to their priorities not according to the way you feel.
Having disorganised goals will make you under utilize your time.
When you have goals that are disorganised, you will get lesser results.
One of the ways of organising your goals is by *Documenting Your Goals*
Have a book, a dairy or something that you apportion to or dedicated to setting your goals and writing them down.
Don't Just let them be in your head!
Take them from your head and Document in a book!
Arrange them according to priority, and according to their value.
Documented according to their Urgency.
Which is most pressing? Most urgent?
Which matters to me most now? Today? This week?
What's your priority this month?
A Major Mistake most people make is Wanting to achieve everything today!
You cannot achieve everything in one day!
What are those things that if you don't do them today, there are going to be issues and problems?
Which of them have higher chances of causing bigger affectations and disasters if not done? Just learn to set priorities.
