MCAN Ramadan Tafsir program

Yesterday's activity eases my burden of all activities I have to do during my youth service as a general Secretary and also the chairman of the Ramadan Tafsir planning committee. We planned on several things and we are able to accomplish 90% of our plans. 

The committee planned on hosting the military commandant in the cantonment Nkwagu Military cantonment Abakaliki Ebonyi State. We planned to get Drinks, exotic Biscuits, dates and sweets for kids. We planned to fill the mosque with chairs to avoid intermingling of opposite sex which Islam prohibit. We also planned to host Iftor for the current serving Muslim corp members available at the program. We also planned to get a scholar to lecture us on a sound and demanding topic which is "lawful Earning".

We are unable to host the two commandants due to some work ethics. We are denied chairs because of money priority by the rental service. Except for these two highlighted things. We are able to accomplish the rest with the help of the Almighty God.

The program started exactly five minutes to 11:00am with the opening prayer and ended with a suspension prayer by the newly selected Amir.

At the beginning we were few, but in an hour people kept coming till the mosque filled to the brim. 

The lecturer did justice to the topic and the presentation was wonderful. It is a sound presentation so to say. Everyone was happy to be part of the program. 

Packages were shared at the end of the program and the committee was well appreciated by the cantonment Imam and other dignitaries present at the program. I was excited because I didn't know it would be as easy as I pictured it from the very beginning. 

As the general Secretary of the association (Muslim coper's Association of Nigeria Abakaliki Ebonyi State Barracks chapter) I was scheduled with the responsibility of announcing the newly selected executives. I started by dissolving the current executives and then pronouncing the newly selected executives to the audience. I ended my announcement with a prayer. "May Almighty Allah ease the burden for them and set their foot right and not astray". 

At the end of the program everybody present was commended. I pray Almighty Allah accept our fast and reward everyone of us the highest ranking paradise…Aaamin
