My experiment on a Magical Book

Have you ever watched movies and began to imagine the ideas and scenes in the movie? Things like imagining how they mastered some characters to make it real as if it's in real life existence... especially the magic displays. I remember seeing a movie that was centered on human teleportation, after the movie I went to search for its reality but I was shocked to see that teleportation is not yet in existence.

One movie I saw that baffled me with its magical displays is the Legend Of The Seeker, it was so real that I was moved to make research on some of those magics especially the journey book.

The journey book is used to send messages from one place to another without transporting the physical paper. You are confused? Let explain more.

Just the way we have biro with ink(pen), this journey book uses blood to draw on it and as you're writing the letters, it's appearing instantly at the destination.

I was so concerned about this magic and decided to make enquiries, I went to some sites and was lucky to see the manuals on how to go about it and I was eager to give it a test along as it doesn't require any sort of weird sacrifices.

I read through the site and saw the requirements, they were simple and the materials were common in my place, the only challenge there was how to get the specified sample of book, not ordinary book but a book from the 1980s. So I started hunting for the book, going from one library to another, from one bookshop to another and fortunately, I was able to find one, although not as exact as the one described but I was sure it'd serve same function. It was stated that the pages of the book must be yellow, and with a blank look at Ordinary glance but words on it appears on midnight after some rituals. I was lucky to have found it, the bookshop I bought it wasn't aware of the content of the book and it was sold cheaply to me because it more like an abandoned book.

I remember I was in school during this period of "madness of mine", I was free from parents, I had all the time to do my things without question.

I returned from school on Wednesday, gathered all my tools and kept at a corner, waiting for night time to perform the experiment I've longed for.

I didn't sleep that night, I was awake till 11pm and anxiety was all over me, a lot of thought filled my mind especially the repercussions. But I didn't cared, all I wanted to see was to see the magic work.

Look at the prescription;

• Get the books(two copies)

• Put a little blood in a cup(must be my blood)

• Get a chicken feather as pen,

• Get two red candles; fix one at the entrance to your room while the other at the deepest corner of your house...with flames burning.

• Grind a native chalk and Rob them on your palm.

• Keep 40mins silence and dip the feather's head on the cup of blood and write on the book.

• Don't look through the book untill you're ready to write.

I read through the processes again and mastered every bit of it, I was glad because there was no point I needed to invoke a spirit, so within myself I was glad because if a spirit appears in my room in that night hour, I know I'll run away🤣.

So I went to do as Instructed, I lit the two candles, placed one at the entrance of my room, then the other one inside my kitchen.

I sat down, use the grinded native chalk to run my palms, placed the other book on my bed while I was seating on the floor with the main one at my front.

It got to the point I needed blood and I noticed that it's gonna be painful to Pierce my flesh to get a sip of blood, but I did it because I was determined and desperate, it was painful even though it was a needle I used to Peirce my flesh to release blood.

After the arrangement, it was time to stay for 40mins without talking or movement...and this became the most difficult part because 40mins is just an hour but I was determined to do it.

So I sat down on the floor, time was already 1:00am and I need to get back to it by 1:40am, I decided to set alarm but reduced the volume so it won't be Disturbing to my neighbors when it start ringing.

I sat down and was waiting for 40mins to elapse and do you know what happened? I found myself on bed by 7:00am. I bursted into laughter on

how sleep ruined all my efforts. Lol 🤣.

That was how I gave up and said I can't sacrifice my sweet sleep for any magical experiment. I through the things away and concluded that the journey book in that movie is just a myth or fictional.

I marvel at how those movie script brings all these real fictions into play, they appear real.
