Therapy and Off Day

What a beautiful therapeutic time it is when rest day arrives, especially if for some reason rest day comes after leg day. Although you might wonder why someone would love their rest day after the leg day there are several reasons why someone would train this way. . .

One of the reasons is to allow enough recovery time in addition to sleep and relaxation. Leg day is observed as one of the most painful or rather fatigued days of on the training calendar so some time out is needed for the thigh muscles and calves to regain composure. By having rest day after leg day the trainer will be able to have time to go for a massage, steam baths or sauna if these are not facilities of the gym they train at.

Saunas, steam baths and massages are extremely therapeutic not only to the legs but all muscle groups. These types of therapy serve to smooth out the deep groves of the muscles attained during strenuous exercise and training. It is recommended that incorporation of some therapeutic massage and other forms of therapy be included in the training schedule as to save the trainer's time to stress thinking about their methods of recovery instead to just have in the training schedule.

Keeping up with therapy on rest day after leg day is not always possible due to the trainer feeling like less movement as possible due to the brain having registered the day as rest day. On the other hand if it's done more frequently on a weekly basis or several times a week then it becomes easier and even enjoyable to have therapy and in some cases it may develop into an addiction. Which is not a bad addiction as it will require that one trains before therapy.

The main focus here is to get in as much training as possible for as much gain as possible or weight loss. Whatever the training goal is, its crucial that maximum efficiency is reached in order to reap the rewards from putting in the work.

Something I like about physical exercise and working out is that no one can do it for you. Maybe they can share the experience but once we get loose in that gym with efficiency of everything, oh my. Its a beautiful mess in the gym, the beast comes to life again and again plus it doesn't have to be a gym, calisthenics is another great form of getting in the work needed to sculpt our bodies into God sculptures. Its all about the work we actively put in. Once we are determined and set our focus to the goals we set forth we become unstoppable, there appears to be forces dragging you back to sleep but that won't stop the beast from awakening, time delays won't do it. The gym floor has to be flooded with sweat blood and tears of joy from achieving milestones on milestones.

So much that when rest day arrives, we will feel like we deserve it not just a matter of arrival by time. It is easy for us to listen to naysayers about slow body progress or that will not work or try this I did this when I was there. By all means do that but at the end of your schedule you will notice the goals you have achieved for those set moments which will leave you the blueprint of what to follow and what not to follow. Sure take that suppliments that you know are bad for you but you got a plan behind that right? You are only taking them to fill up the time or the weight gap before you adapt to your other meal plan right, is any.

Wether in the gym, dojo, tennis court, race track or Olympic arena, it's all about the mindset and if we do not learn from our ever changing surrounding by taking the blueprint that life hands us everyday and adapting it to best suit us for maximum productivity then that's on us. We are made for greatness, carefully engineered by the Gods for success, there are no obstacles or anything in the way other than that which we mentally put there.

Whatever haddle you seem to be facing, be it age, money, energy, health, or circumstances, that should be your reason to go harder to not give in when your demons creep up on telling not to do it. You got to do this, you are inspiration to the rest of us, one small step for you is a huge leap for humanity. You are busy writing your awards acceptance speech and you are out here trying to contemplate about listening to your demons. Get up and go get it, put in the work, write the book, record the song, edit the video, get that diving rescue licence or whatever you got to do to match your good feelings and vibrations because unless you do, it will all just be a dream and the same demons you choose to listen to will host you up high like a flagship joke. So what you gonna do?

I thought so, you seemed like a champion!

I am satisfied with my care!

Love and light!

Bless up!

Scandinavians are known to love saunas, place of peace. Apparently there's no fighting in the sauna. Saunas are great for exfoliation. You know what's better? Turkish bathhouses., 😅😏😏😏🌻

I am guilty of not going to the gym but I make sure that I move and groove every single day. I am more into sports especially volleyball and tennis. I don't play professionally but I still do all the necessary warm ups before playing. These sports serves as my weekly exercises. Actually, this is also what I am looking forward on my rest days.
