More views means more exposure which means that whatever your goal is for being out here on these platforms, you are that much closer to achieving or even surpassing your goal.
One thing I have observed about more views is the 2 cents by Gary Vee. Its not really called 2 cents I just think it fits to be called that, now what is this 2 cents philosophy?

On with the 2c,
This is the act of assuming your role as a well motivated, confident and driven content creator who wishes to get a bigger audience or more views. This can be on any platform that content creators put their content for consumption by other content creators, freelancers looking for content to work with, clients looking to get content that they will pay for, platforms looking to use content creators to help populate their platforms, and most valuable are the viewers of the content created. These platforms are busy with hundreds to millions of users every minute of every day. Looking at these numbers makes you think it would be easy to get a share of the users to view your content. Although that is true to the last bit, it requires work, a lot of work on the content created as well as the image and setup of the profile where the content is placed. Now this also goes farther to involve how and to who the content is shared. Its not hard to know why some profiles or pages get millions of views while some really cool content can barely hold a hundred views. Some would say it's all about the exposure and how the page is marketed as a brand even if it's a person.
The 2c philosophy is a grit and grind philosophy which involves leaving your 2c on these popular pages. By finding some content that relates to your content, that you also like and the selected content is getting more views than yours sometimes even less, what you do is leave your mark. As Gary Vee describes it, it's the dirt under the nails, that's the real work he says "you wake up and what's the first thing you do? You grab your phone and check your notification. Yes the gurus will tell you to meditate and what not but we all know they do it for the views too, at least a percentage of it. Now what you do is scroll through the top picks for the day with the most views whatever platform you pick, pick ten pages in IG for instance and you leave a meaningful comment on each of these ten pages, don't repeat or you will spam. Do this a couple of times a day for the rest of the month and you'll experience about 10 percent increase in your audience/views/fans.
Gary Vee describes the philosophy as one of those things you got to do because if you don't do it and you've gotten it as an idea that you don't have to spend anything on except the 2c that you mentally leave there then it's your loss. People are getting paid by this simple philosophy, if you can't even do this one simple act of marketing how do you see yourself spending millions on advertising and marketing in a big corporation that you dream of? Life will test you with seemingly meaningless tests that will define you and you end up losing your shot because you orient yourself into a corner and let others box you in. Change your outlook font let it work against you, always question the approach.
During medical practice we would always do equipment check, I think it's the same in all settings except that sometimes we like to leave the dishes undone in the kitchen. What? That is equipment too, the tools needed to get the job done, if you do not question the condition of the tools how will you be sure to efficiently get the job done or are you just going to comfortably find a smooth corner and pray they come box you in? Ask yourself why? Why do I have this outlook? Why the 2c, why do I need to do equipment check. You asking that why, that's an approach to purpose, the more why's you ask (yourself) the closer you get to who you envision yourself to be.
I find that asking "why" really takes off the stress on things, not the rebeleous why, but a genuine why of questioning your approach to things and situations in life. Especially the things that define us, why definition? Why respect size so much? Why the hierarchy? Why is the lion king of the jungle? The lion is obviously not the fastest, not the smartest, not the biggest, not even the best looking but still the lion comes around and all the other animals hail the king. A lot of these why's do not need to get answers right away, they serve to shift your mindset into the drive that we need in order to perform more efficiently. In order to focus on what needs our focus the most and do it well not just half ass jobs.
If you do not own your niche [ A niche is a focused, targeted area that you serve particularly well. It is small and specific( the smaller and more specific the better). It is known to you.] Others will use you to build their niches. Which is nothing to get mad about, unless that madness pushes you to find your niche and master it with all the knowledge and skill accumulated from working on so many other niches. It can potentially be deadly when a jack of all traits decides to pick a niche or two and focus all his might in that one niche. Exponential growth is inevitable and because the jack of all traits is the jack of all traits it will be hard for this jack of all traits not to diversify or decentralise or outsource or expand the chosen niche into other fitting or related or necessary niches like, as a content creator this jack of all traits is also well versed in influencing, programing, rewriting, distributions, scripting, negotiations etc. This would enable the jack of all traits to move with ease and sometimes it's as simple as delegations.
And it all started with a why!
