Digital Marketing; the World and You.
It has become a clear fact that the world has become more digital than analogue in nature. This is seen in the production and manufacture of both domestic gadgets which are digitally controlled. This technical advancement has increased from the use of pieces of machinery to even the most common appliance which can be found virtually in every home. Before now, no one would have believed that the toothbrush can be electronically powered during the process of brushing. There has been not just the increase of technological innovations, but a total shift from the manual to mechanical ways of doing things. If you have been following my posts you will understand that the past few days of my life were enveloped in regret but as God may have it, I am free from any form of guilt thanks to my one and only lover.
I guess you will be wondering what led me into writing this article today. The truth is that my mind is now easy to function normally like it used to. While I was going through an article about Digital Marketing, I got a certain point that triggered my inner mind. Those who are close to me will understand that I am always ready to ask the question “what if” at all times. This is not because I want to have a doubtful mindset towards everything and anything that pops up in my mind rather it is because I have come to understand that the human mind is capable of solving even the most difficult problems when put to good use. To be fair, I learnt this from my dad. As the only daughter in the house, I was very much closer to him than my mum. This sometimes makes my mum jealous and whenever this happens, I will try my best to make her feel better. My father began to train my mind towards thinking critically about anything and everything. I must confess that most of my male friends will sometimes talk to me as though I am a guy. They will go to the extent of coming to seek my opinion on some things.
Somehow, I began to develop that mental awareness of everything around me. As I was reading through the article, I began to think. What would have been the faith of the world if there was no form of technological advancement and changes? Just imagine a world where there were no modern means of transportation, nothing like electricity, pipe-borne water, architectural advancement, and modern means of communication and so on. What would have been the faith of our world today? As these thoughts were running through my mind, I began to see the need for me and every single one of us on this platform to propagate this message of Digital Marketing to the ends of the earth. For us to have a better understanding of what this post is all about, I will make some inferences from the article I was reading which borders on digital marketing.
From observations and studies, it has become clear to everyone who cares to know that digital marketing is nothing other than a digital means of selling goods and services through the use of desktop computers, phones and other devices that are internet enabled. The biggest challenge I have seen is that a lot of Africans and other populace living in and around developing countries do not know or have a full understanding of what digital marketing is and how it works. This is the major problem which we all must come together in other to fight off now that we can before it takes hold of the developing countries and their citizens. Right now, anyone who has a handful of knowledge of digital marketing in the world is already on the right track towards attaining financial freedom.
Why should we care?
We should think about the future and the benefits we can get if we key into digital marketing. For me, I am already taking lecturers online just to have a handful of understanding on digital marketing. As a girl who has seen the need to work hard for financial freedom, I would want to use this opportunity to enlighten others especially the female folks to take this very seriously. If the world could change so much with the help of technology, what do you think would happen in the future when marketing, selling goods and services takes the path of digitalization. Although we cannot rule out the fact that physical marketplaces will not go extinct but, we must understand that when digital marketing takes over fully, a lot of people may lose their jobs if they decide not to work with the changing pattern of the world. Just for us to understand better, let us look at the current trend over the internet.
We have Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and a whole lot of other platforms and social media handles where one can buy and sell different kinds of things. We cannot have these entire platforms where we can make extra cash even as we are seated in the comfort of our homes without maximizing its gains. It will be the worst mistake of anyone especially youths in this time and age. Therefore, like your blog and study the crypto market, don’t forget that you owe it to yourself to follow every digital trend in other not to be left out.
