Remember who you are

Sometimes we feel down after a particular set of inconvenients or failures that really humbled us. It might be being rejected, not living up to a particular standard or just not accomplishing your set of goals. We all have times like this, though surely most of us get up and continue with life. However, during these periods of realizations and reflexion is where we experience a lot of unnecesary turmoil that makes the process of acceptance and development slower. That's why in this article I'll talk about a method that has worked for me when I felt down and It was time for me to move on, and that is looking back at what I've achieved so far. I know It might be asking you too much to look back at significant victories when you think you might have gotten none, though you can look at any of your accomplishments, no matter the scale and feel proud of them, So I'll mention a set of benefits that doing this might bring to your process of your recuperation so you can think on implementing them. 1.- Reminding yourself that you're capable

A failure might leave you with the thought that you're worthless, and that's far from the truth. By looking at even the littlest successes, you will call you back to reason by showing yourself what you've done previously and how that made you feel, bringing you back that old sensation and remembering the attitude of someone who gets things done.

2.- Looking back at the process

Another times all that you need is to look at the procedure of achievements that you've accomplished previously to find out a way to attack your problems and overcome them. That's precisely why you should look back in time in order to find those times in which you got a great victory and look at all the steps of the process so you can identify what were the steps to success and replicate them, surely putting the same amount of hard work.

3.- Making you want to try again:

What you've done in the past was a matter of sacrifice and learning, and that's precisely what you did in the present though with a different outcome, and by giving a little glimpse to your old projects you might spark the old flame for those practices, giving you a renewed sense of purpose with regards to what you once became good at.

I know It's hard for all of us to get up and try again, though I encourage that If It's what you really want to do, to always give It a chance, knowing that It's more satisfying than the alternative. Thank you for your support and good luck!
