Get past Artificial Hate

There's a lot of hate on the Internet nowadays, sometimes directed to a famous person because of an unpopular opinion they shared, and sometimes towards one another in comment sections because of an unhealthy dispute or "Trolling". However, even If people might have their own pathological or even self serving reasons for making demeaning remarks of strangers, there Is still a principle which, as old as It is, still applies to these times, "Don't Judge a Book by Its cover". This tells us, in the case of "Cancelling" or partaking in acts of focused reputation destruction, to look a little bit further to see If the person is as bad as he/she is portrayed or It's just that their image has been distorted. That's why in this article I will discuss about things you can do to see the truth of an online personality and If the stories told about them are really a depiction of what's happening. Let's begin:

Look at things in context:

This might happen a lot with people who are incredibly polarizing in what they said, to the point that at the same rate that they attract new followers, they gain detractors, detractors which will use a lot of tactics to bring misinformation about the controversial figure, all to make them seem a villainized version of themselves and prove all the comments of hate were right. Examples of this might be found in taking little sections of long videos (Like podcasts or TedTalks), editing them and making a shorter one with a clip out of context that incriminates them of "dangerous" behaviour. That's why, to realize If someone is really "The devil on earth", you should check at longer material than Youtube Shorts to realize their true nature.

Look at the positive too:

I'm not condoning for the actions of people that have really commited bad things, though for people who haven't commited something truly reproachable like a real crime, we can look for real intentions by trying to compare both the negative that is being said and the positive. In this way you'll realize the views of the person by the comments the people in both ends make of them.

Is what they said/did that great of a deal?

To be honest, most of the time It isn't. People tend to forget that the best strategy to people saying things they don't agree with or hurt them is to ignore them. If a comment hasn't been used to hurt someone or a group of people in a direct way, It shouldn't be taken as a serious manner. However, the best thing to trust in this case is your instinct by asking yourself Is this a real trouble or are people exaggerating?

I hope that the information presented in this article could have served as an advice to people who are new to controversies, trying to figure out what happened and If the views of a certain person being punished are done for no reason or have something behind them. As always, I thank you infinitely for your support and I wish you the best of luck!

I really admire this saying,Never judge a book by its cover. Truly i am, since I was in high school, I believe in this saying i really understand the meaning of this. And one lesson I have before is that a book that is covered ugly didn't get the attention it deserve, unlike those beautifully covered they were being taken, but the beauty of the book is in the inside, the meaning the knowledge can be found in the inside not in its cover. Most of the people admires those who dressed well and beautiful, reject those who dressed ugly without looking for the beauty that can be found inside of that individual. We should never look down things we never know the ! meaning and its purpose.

I still believed that old saying, don't judge the book by its cover. We should always have in mind that everything that happens around us has its own reasons why. We should not put any conclusion into something, right away, we never know how painful it is for them to hear that words we say.
