What is load-shedding:

Load-shedding is a very common problem to Bangladeshi people. When the supply of electricity stop for a certain period we called it load-shedding. It happens because the production of electricity in our country is not sufficient to fulfil our electricity demand.

Why load-shedding happens:

There are many reasons for load-shedding some of these are misuse of electricity, illegal connection of electricity is one of the main reason of load-shedding but the most main reason of load-shedding is the insufficient production of electricity and corruption in electricity distribution.

Disadvantages of load-shedding:

There are many disadvantages of load-shedding. Mainly it hamper the income of people whose works are related with electricity. Due to load-shedding production in mills and factories decreases. Fresh food rotten which preserved in the refrigerator. Many types of crime held in our country due to load-shedding at night. Students cannot study properly due to load-shedding. Frequent load-shedding in the summer season makes life unbearable. It paralyses normal activities life.

What should we do to stop load-shedding:

To stop load-shedding we have to be more aware about this matter. The authority should establish more power plants and power house to stop load-shedding. We shouldn’t use more electricity than we need. Illegal connection and system and corruption in distributing electricity should be stopped.
