Everyone has a dream that they want to pursue. Most of us want to be rich or successful at something or other, while some of us could do without the money and are just looking for a bit of fulfillment. Thing is though, most of us keep dreaming and never make the decision to pursue our dreams and put in the work to make them happen. What’s worse, we find ourselves wishing that we had made that decision and feeling guilty about not doing it for the rest of our lives. I think most of us trick ourselves into believing that we have achieved a certain level of success by the amount of things we have acquired rather than looking at actions as an indication of success. We end up confusing success with being rich.

If you were to wake up tomorrow as a multi-millionaire with complete financial freedom and zero ties to a 9-to - 5 job, what would you do next? I imagine that most of us would take time off to travel the world, right? But after a week or so of vacationing, we’d begin to wonder; what now? How would we use our time, our money, our energy? I wish there was an easy answer to this question. But here’s the thing: sometimes there is no clear next step. Sometimes we don’t know what to do next because we can’t see a vision for where we want to go. Whatever that thing is that you want more than anything else in the world — money doesn’t necessarily make it happen. You have to take action and you have to make a decision on how your going to get there.

I met a young lady in church one Sunday who asked me if I would help her. She had confided in me that she and her husband had been married for a year but had not been blessed with a child. She was all the time complaining about her husband who showed her no affection and just stayed out of the house.
