The globe has never been more interconnected than it is now. Thanks to social media, one's ability to communicate through numerous means is quickly improving. Websites and programs that allow users to produce and share content or participate in social networking are social media. As a phenomenon that has just occurred in the last few decades, it has undoubtedly changed how we live our everyday lives. Today's generation is focusing only on the internet. Also, instead of physical books, we all need mobile phones; instead of reading news in the newspapers, we watch it with our phones. Using the Internet all day has replaced meaningful interactions by providing access to everything and everyone's information, making it unnecessary to talk or labor to learn. It is easy to use now even four years old child can operate mobile phones, etc.
Life was fascinating before social media. I grew up in the '2000s, and we did the craziest shit back then. Before, We talked to each other in person, hung out, physically went to places together instead of visiting one another online. Passing notes in class and the euphoric feeling when you opened the mailbox, snail mail was waiting for you—letters from friends and magazines with pretty pictures of things you'd never seen before. I miss the old times. Also, I have experienced my childhood playing my favorite soccer, cricket, Volleyball, and whatever we could enjoy as a child. In contrast, at that time the social media did not exist.
We can laugh and enjoy as much as when we gathered and met our schoolmates, then friends, acquaintances as we have plenty of sweetest childhood memories that present children ever could not have in their life. Since the existence of social media and smartphones in their lives, that is very sad right now.
Without social media, you won't be able to share images of yourself or your day on a daily basis. It also means that your Instagram and Facebook pages will no longer receive likes or comments. There would be no need for you to make your "feed" appear creative and visually attractive, no more battling to get the most likes and comments on your photos or the most views on your videos and posts. The best photo of you in real life is seen and taken with these innovative, all-natural devices called the Human Eyes.
Real-life means no more posting on Facebook about how your life seems absurd or how nothing is going right for you. It means no more ranting about how you performed for your exams or how your best friend became your worst enemy. Real-life enhances proper communication with your parents about how you feel instead of making them appear like monsters by posting wrong and awful things on Facebook or Twitter. It means meeting people and getting to know them through a different aspect rather than what is portrayed behind the screen. The connection between two individuals automatically becomes more vital, and a new type of bond is created.
You have more time to meet and get to know people in a world without social media. Of course, your phone will no longer be the first thing you look for when you get up or the final thing you seek when you go to bed. You feel more present during hanging out moments without social media because you don’t have to photograph everything constantly. Instead, you live in the present and appreciate it. Your recollection serves as a reminder of how unforgettable it was.
