The title I gave to this article would probably make you wonder what I mean. Well, not to worry, it's only a metaphorical expression of what I'm about to say. I write this from personal experience and frustration, not just merely a motivational speech I heard somewhere.
I joined readcash about two or three months ago and trust me, I've really benefited a lot from them. Both in experience and financially. I was really comfortable with the laid down rules and regulations. After a while, I got exposed to so many "get money online" schemes which were also legit ways of making money online, I won't dispute that fact. So I decided to delve into one of them, I won't mention the kind of online business, but it was legit and a lot of people are also into it. I gave it a shot and I got registered and I decided to do both readcash and the other one I found out. It was a bit stressful but I still pushed myself.
After a series of online webinars and youtube videos, I found another means of making money online and went into that one also.
Meeeeehhn... It was really tough for me. I didn't sleep again, I ate late, and when I did, I ate little all because I wanted to be able to manage all at at the same time and be effective in all. It was really tasking. My mom would complain and yell at me for not eating or sleeping or trying to do any chore at home, I would always tell her it was all for the money. If you have noticed any of the ad about working from home, its always about having a stress free job and be able to work at your own convenience but I wasn't comfortable or free, I was always choked! I guess it was because I didn't focus on one and I just wanted to do all because they all looked promising and were legit. I spent money buying e-books and signing up for webinars so I could learn more. I did learn more, but I didn't have the time to implement them and make myself get better like they say "practice makes perfect". My life was sleep, wake up, stay on my laptop all day, sleep again. this routine went on for a month until I had a rethink.
Lest I forget, prior to all these, I had already begun my forex trading lessons, so now you can imagine how choked I was. Now, I had a rethink and thought to myself, "how much have I spent, and how much have I gained"? I kept on learning without having time to do practicals because I was learning too many things.
I made a decision to stay on just two for now because the major aim of working from home is to enjoy the freedom and be comfortable. So I had to be comfortable, focused, and also spend time with family, friends, and God. Right now I've decided to do only readcash and forex and since I made this decision, I've been successful, and I've seen improvements in my social life and finances.
One would ask, "what's about the money spent on learning the other two online businesses, would it all go to waste"? Of course not!!! Remember, no knowledge gained is waste. I'll implement and use them in the future when I have fully learned and started earning good money from what I'm doing right now. I'll expand my horizons, and from this my current stream of income, other streams would be birthed(hence, my article title).
So, stick to one right now, grow that business or project, then invest in others. It's wiser that way. Don't make the same mistakes I made.
Be amazing!
This was a good read. It always interest me to learn new things, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed. Though continue learning gives more value to me, which I used in my jobs. I realized if I can used that knowledge to my own business system or money making scheme, I can finally quit my job. So now, I invest more of my time and money to it.
