What is Komodo?
Komodo is a relatively young cryptocurrency that’s already made it to the top 50 cryptocurrencies of the world. The Komodo platform is also being anticipated to be the bridge between Ethereum and Bitcoin after the implementation of Etomic.
Developement
Komodo is forked from Zcash blockchain with the zk-Snark technology.It uses technology from Zcash(ZEC) cryptocurrency that uses Zero-Knowledge Proof. This technology gives the Komodos Blockchain users to obfuscate their transactions details or keep them privately and anonymously.
Its team is striving to extend or expand its exchange call BartDEX. Their aim is to creat worldwide blockchain interoperability that bridges the gap between blockchains.
Technologies
The network of Komodo Blockchain is powered by Atomic Swap Technology.With the use of it, users can exchange any cryptocurrencies to Komodo's decentralized Exchange which is BartDEX that have capability to perform peer to peer and secure transaction.
Komodo's mechanism uses dPOW or Delayed Proof of Work that notarizes blockchain blocks. Through notarization of 64 pre-voted hutary nodes, transactions are completey secured. This will protect its platform againts modifying of transactions.

Just like Zcash's technology which is zk-Snarks, Komodo adopted it to ensure the privacy of user's transactions(sending or receiving money).
It uses zero-knowledge proof technology. Meaning, transactions within Komodo's Blockchain can be tottally transaparent.
Komodos platform has built-in capacity of enabling desired feature of its developers and chain modifying.

All transactions amounts are completely private. Both sender and receiver are not allowed to see it except the approval of miners.
