Jackson Palmer used to have joke in November 27,2013. This joke would become the lead to birth the new cryptocurrency. He posted a tweet in twitter saying” Investing in Dogecoin- pretty sure its the big thing”.

His joke was caught the interest of the programmer named Billy Markus. Markus contracted to Palmer to turn his joke to reality.After a week in December 6th. Mining and trading of Dogecoin is now possible.The supposedly joke was amazingly turned into serious project.

• The dogecoin was started and created by its founder named Jackson Palmer in November 2013. This joke is was turn to reality when he contracted with the programmer named Billy Markus.

• The Dogecoin was inspired from the popular internet meme. They designed it to be a friendly and more approachable kind of cryptocurrency that could reach its user to the complexity of Bitcoin.

• Dogecoin played a major part in raising 25000 usd which was utelized to help those people with disabilities.This currency was also able to help and funded the bobsled team of Jamaica to go and join the Sochi Winter Olympics with 300USD.

• The dogecooin one month after its official released, it entered the most valuable altcoin having a cap equivalent of 53million USD.

Purposes

• Dogecoin is usually used for tipping purposes. It can be compare to giving to posted status or pictures but has impact.

• The sad thing is since 2015, there is no more technical updates from its developers since Jacson Palmer declared to have leave.

• Dogecoin was also inspired from Litecoin because of the same technology used behind of them.

• In December 25th , a 21million of Dogecoin with a USD value of $12,000 was hacked and stolen. Its supportive community was started fundraising to replace the stolen coins. They successfully replaced it in February 2014.

According to medium.com, investing in Dogecoin is not too risky due to the fact that the coin is not affected by some major terms.

As what I have said from my previous articles, every year new crypto currencies are entering the world of cryptos. We can’t imagine that one of them are started and created from jokes, memes or any none sense stuffs.We can’t imagine that one of them is possibly to break the markets.
