(1) What is blood pressure in human body and what can happen if this pressure is present or not?

Water is readily available on the ground floor of a house. But to collect this water upstairs or to store it in a reservoir, we either have to fill our own buckets or arrange for a pump to carry the water upstairs. The pump tries to pull that water upwards by an electrical motor, with the help of a centrifugal impeller, a suction or tension is created in the reservoir below, when this pressure is greater than the ball of gravity of the earth, the water flows upwards. In the same way, the human body needs pressure for the anagona of blood. The pressure on the blood is what we call blood pressure.

When blood leaves the heart and flows to different parts of the body, it reaches its destination through arteries, where it returns oxygen to the heart through another vein, releasing oxygen from its own cells and picking up carbondioxide. For. The heart sends blood cells back to the lungs, where it releases carbondioxide and brings back new oxygen to the heart.

This whole process follows a rhythmic pattern. This whole cycle is called a heartbeat. The diastolic pressure is usually the amount of blood that has to be applied to the anagona to run the cycle from the end of one beat to the next. It is usually 80 mm of Hg (Mercury) in an adult human body.

(2) What do we mean by high or low blood pressure?

When the ambient pressure is higher than the blood pressure, our veins and arteries become narrower as a result of having more pressure from the outside. Remember that a pipe through which water is flowing, if the pipe is blocked from the outside with a force greater than the force of water, then water will not flow through that pipe. When the blood pressure is low, the blood cannot reach the destination, so if the blood does not reach the head, the person becomes unconscious or subconscious.

In the same way, if the water pressure is higher inside the pipe than the outside pressure, then the pipe may burst. If the blood pressure is high, then the blood capillaries like these arteries and veins rupture. This pressure that the blood puts on its own arteries or veins is called systolic pressure. Usually it is 120 mm of Hg (Mercury).

If the diastolic pressure is high, the blood flow increases. Therefore the interval between the two beats is reduced, as a result of which the blood cells have to trade their oxygen and carbondioxide transactions very quickly. As a result, various organs of the body are either unable to get enough oxygen or are not able to give all the carbondioxide.

When the diastolic pressure decreases, the speed of the blood also decreases, increasing the distance between the two beats. Now there is plenty of time for the particles to deliver oxygen. But the speed at which the body needs oxygen replenishment is less than that. This causes some cells to become dull to receive insufficient oxygen.

If the systolic pressure rises above 140 or falls below 90, it is bad. On the other hand, if the diastolic pressure goes above 90 or goes below 65, it is equally bad.

(3) What causes blood pressure to rise or fall spontaneously?

Blood pressure is 120/80 mm of Hg in a normal normal healthy person. But for various reasons it does not remain at this normal level.

Some of the main causes are: age, laziness or inactivity, heredity, smoking, alcohol, overweight, dehydration, malnutrition, unhealthy diet and high cholesterol levels.

With age, it is normal for the body to decay. Excessive laziness disrupts the normal functioning of the body resulting in blood circulation problems. As the body loses water, so does the blood pressure. Smoking and drinking do not allow the body to maintain its normalcy.

(4) What can be done to control excessive blood pressure?

  • You have to do your own work

  • The bmi should be kept between 18 to 23 to keep the weight normal

  • Water and aqueous substances should be consumed

  • Quit smoking and alcohol

  • Excess salt should be avoided

  • To control oxygen intake, do yoga and pranayaam every morning

  • And drink plenty of water

  • High fat, fat and cholesterol should be eliminated from the diet
