Happy Sunday, everyone! Monday is on its way again, and I bet everyone's mood will change from this π€ to this π. LMAO. It's okay, you're not alone. We hate Mondays, but sometimes Mondays are not that bad. It's exciting too, especially if we're waiting for something within that week. Admit it, you're also like this if you're expecting something to arrive. We all get excited the whole week.
Just like my brother, he's so eager to receive his Rubiks cube that I ordered online. It says that it should arrive today since it's already in the station. But then it didn't. He was so disappointed. And I was like, "it's okay because maybe it's their day off knowing that it's Sunday." And also, the Kuyang delivery guy just delivered something to me yesterday and the other day, like literally, he's been delivering all my orders online every day. I already expected that it'll took too long to arrive since it was delivered from overseas. So, it's understandable.
Enough with this and let's move forward to what the title was all about.
Vendors: A Budget For The Trip
Vendors? I'm not referring to the vendors outside like, side walk vendors and street vendors. The vendors that I'm referring here was my cousins. They're selling fries, tempura, samalamig and fishball. They're just selling it right outside the house for our neighbors. I was the one who suggested them to sell these kinds of foods which is street foods because lots of people have been craving for it. Knowing that we're still not totally free and some street vendors aren't allowed to sell.
Their first day was good and all of the foods that they sell were sold immediately like just a single snap of the infinity stones. Lol. They started selling in the second week of November and up until now they're still continue selling. Actually the first one that they decided to sell was a banana que, they were able to accumulate 800 PHP in just a day. They were the one who get the banana off the tree. That's how determined they are to sell those and earn some money.
The 800 PHP that they got from selling banana que was used as their "puhonan," or capital, to buy all the things they needed. That's when they bought fries, tempura, and fishballs. And they were able to buy their own butane. Because before, they just borrowed at our aunt's butane. And their small business went well.Β
The reason why they decided to sell food is that they're eager to earn money before the year 2021 ends. It is because we, all of us cousins, decided to take a trip after Christmas, and it's right at the end of the month. We decided to take a trip to Bantayan Island. We have already booked an apartment good for 15 pax. And we really need a good amount of money because we will be staying there for three days and two nights. That is why they're so eager to have money for their budget for the trip at the end of December. We were able to get a good discount on the apartment since it was owned by the aunt of our other cousin who was working in Bantayan. It is actually a house, a whole house that we're renting. It will be worth it because they said it is a good house and air-conditioned.

All of us here are so excited about that three-day stay on Bantayan Island. It is one of the best beaches in the Philippines.Β [Hindi naman siguro kami masyadong excited kasi nagpa book agad kahit a month early palang lol ]

We were so happy and proud of them for how determined they are to earn some money without asking for their parents help. They want to be able to pay the fees without asking some for their parents. That's what a real "madiskarte" is. Not those kids who loves to brag everything that they have and even go out with their friends in a fancy place. But using their parents money. Hays.
If you're willing to get something, you'll have to work for it in order for you to achieve it. That's how our every day life works.
So, instead of you complaining and demanding everything to your parents, why not just work for it. Because not everything you want can be provided by you parents. Teehee :)
