Aloha! What is up, my super awesome and fabulous read cash buddies? I hope you're all doing fine. How was your Monday so far? I know we all despise Mondays; we can't help ourselves. LOL. But this Monday was a great and productive one for me. Do you know why? It's because of the title of this article that I'll be sharing with you. I can't express how happy I am today. We're not expecting it to turn out like this.
I just want to share with you guys that our thesis study has been approved and passed by our humble and dear panelists!
We didn't expect this, not even a single thing. We're expecting to receive lots of criticism about our chosen topic because we don't know how this topic will go through. We did not even take this seriously. We're just making fun of it, LITERALLY!
The funny thing is that we didn't put more emphasis on our thesis, and I'm not even joking about it. We didn't take this as a serious one because we were so annoyed by it. I mean, yeah, the thesis really is a hassle and an annoying one. We're just making fun of this one. We thought to ourselves that it is what it is, as long as we have something to present to the panelist. That's how crazy we are when it comes to group tasks, no matter what they are. Actually, my groupmates were my friends too. That's why we get to do and think of ideas and random things out of the blue. We also share the same brain cells. LMAO.
But, after we finished presenting and hearing our group's verdict, we were astounded by what our university's head of research said to us. Before he started giving comments, he said first that "I just want to congratulate this group in advance for having a very interesting and Nobel chosen topic." And we were like, "Nobel what?!" "What the heck?" How did it end up being such an interesting one when it's just a piece of trash piled together to form a huge trash pile? LOL.
You can really say that we have a strong fighting spirit, or in Bisaya, "Isogag fighting spirit oy." HAHAHA. It's because the group of panels is not that scary; they're simply the Dean of our department, the head of research at our university, and the secretary of our university. Not that scary, right? We even have the guts to prepare our PowerPoint presentation 30 minutes before it's our turn to present. We didn't even get to study our topic well. We're not prepared and we're all just depending on our stock knowledge. And luckily we didn't run out of stock. lmao. Um, it's our fault too, because our professor reminded us a week ago about this but we ignored it. We are crazy students.
Well, honestly, as for me, it is indeed a unique one compared to others because all of them are focusing more on experimental work while we, aren't.
Our emotions were like, "happy and not happy." Want to know why? We're not that group of people who love to be recognized in a huge crowd, we're just a low-key one doing stupid things. We're happy because we got a compliment from them, and we're kind of sad because they said that our thesis topic might be the one being used as a study to compete with other universities. We're only good at our class, but when it comes to competing with other universities, it's not our thing. The dean even mentioned one of the famous private universities. LOL. We'll either back out or just let someone way better and more confident than us continue our topic and present it to other universities.
Our group is just a small and annoying one. We're not even serious when it comes to something as silly as this. Yeah, I know what you're thinking right now, that it is a great opportunity for us, but we really can't do it. We're not that confident enough.
We'll be okay with it if it's just inside our university, but competing with other universities? Ah, hell naww!
But still, we're happy because they appreciate what we did, even though we didn't even put much effort into it. Some sleepless nights are all worth it; sleepless from doing a 1-hour thesis and the rest from just watching anime. LOL. We did a great job, all of us! The lazy team did receive a very good compliment, one that we didn't even expect. And I can say, FINALLY, THESIS PASSED!
